Winter break was close so the teacher of their first-period class had an idea to do a gift exchange. So they walk around with a bowl letting the students pick a name at random. Jade was last so she opened it seeing it was Yuri's name. She starts to think about what she could get him as she doesn't know him all that well still. Yuri smirks as he looks at his paper, seeing Jade's name. For the rest of the class, everyone had to think about what they were getting the person.

Luca got his best friend so he knew right away what he was gonna get him. Jade waited for the weekend to go to the local mall. She walked around looking for what she thought Yuri would like. Luca tried to ask who she got but Jade wasn't responding as she wanted to keep it a secret. Mainly that Luca would be pissed to find out she got Yuri and demand she switch with someone else. Not only was Jade having to get Yuri a gift but she was looking around for gifts for her family.

She waited for another weekend to go alone, well have one of her bodyguards tag along as no way her dad let her leave alone. Jade didn't want Luca to find out what she'll be getting him at all and spoil the surprise.

"Remember Liberto, what I get today stays between us if you even want to live. You spill to no one about what I am buying today, got it." Jade gave Liberto one of her death glares and even scared him.

"Yes Miss Silverattii, I understand your wishes perfectly." He stands tall as if he wasn't scared of the small five-foot-four teenager.

Over the week she gathered a lot of information about Yuri's family. His family is very well known for their Russian Beer, Vodka and version of Kvas. Well, that's what their legal business dabbles in so she knows she can work with that. She wants to get something that works with his image within the family. Yuri Rostislav is also known as The Slasher in the mafia world. Prefers to torture and kill his enemies with his own hands and hates others interfering.

Jade walks up and down the mall halls and inside every store. She comes to a stop when she spots shot glasses on the shelf of a store. She takes one in her hand that's on display outside the box it comes in. A set of three skull glass novelty cups in 25ml-250ml. She grabs a box and takes it to the front of the store to pay.

Yuri walks around the mall hoping to find something for Jade but he was struggling as well since he doesn't know what she likes. When he was leaving a clothes store he spotted Jade walking around. Yuri had the bright idea to follow her around the mall to see who she got for the gift exchange. Every shop she went into he went into to see what she would look maybe for herself. Yuri also listened to everything she said to get a clear gift idea if she said she liked something.

He spots Jade looking at some kind of necklace for a while, "Only if this was in green I'd so get it."

"Why not get a different colour there's so many," Jade's bodyguard said.

Jade just looks at him like, 'are you for real', the guard just shut his mouth and looked away. Yuri struggled to hold his laugh back when he saw her death-glared at her guard. He spots Jade looking at the shot glasses but he doesn't think about it so he goes to see what she was looking at before. He sees a chainmail necklace so he gets an idea of what he's gonna get her for this exchange. Yuri takes a picture of the necklace and snuck out of the store without Jade or her bodyguard seeing.

Yuri makes it home and gets his laptop out and starts to look up chainmail necklaces. He finds one that sells a complete set with a bracelet, choker, keychain, and some matching earrings. He places the order and just has to play the waiting game. Jade walked around the mall a little longer. In another store, she spots a trapper bomber rabbit fur winter hat. She thought it would be perfect for Yuri and so she got him it.
