"What do they call this girl?" Yuri asked Lapin as his eyes were glued to the girl since they walked in.

"I heard from a few sources that everyone calls her Triple D," Lapin whispers into Yuri's ear.

Yuri smirks as his eyes travel down from her face to her chest, "Well I can definitely see how she got that name." Lapin slaps Yuri upside the back of the head but Yuri grabs his wrist, bending it back causing Lapin pain. "Explain why you just fucking did that Lapin or I break your wrist."

Lapin winces in pain, "You needed to get that head out of the gutter. Triple D doesn't refer to her chest size, it's short for The Don's Deadly Daughter. Also if the family sees you eyeing her like that you will be sleeping with the fishes."

"Do that again then you'll be sleeping with them and not me." Yuri gave Lapin a glare before letting his wrist go.

Lapin grabs his wrist and rubs it to ease the pain, "I'm not kidding you Yuri stays away from her. Not just for me but for your family, we can't lose you if you piss her off."

"Fine, I'll stay away from her," Yuri rolled his eyes but they landed back onto Jade.

He watches as she swings her leg up and over the other. The long slit of her skirt exposed her long slender leg. Yuri couldn't help but look and take his time eyeing her legs.

"Last question about her, how old is she?" Yuri asked but his eyes never left her.

"She's only a year younger than us if my intel is correct."

"You may go and enjoy your time Lapin." Yuri pats Lapin's shoulder.

"Just don't do anything stupid, ok Yuri and I mean it," Lapin said before taking his leave.

Yuri lets out a chuckle as he places his elbow on the table and his head on his hands. Eyes still glued to Jade as he smiles to himself.

"But stupid can bring out some of the most fun things in life," Yuri says to himself.

Jade pulls her phone out and takes a quick picture of herself. She spots her twin brother Luca walk over and sit down in the seat in front of her. Luca takes a mouthful of his drink and sets it down on the table before looking over at his sister. They share a look between one another and laugh.

"So how do you feel about starting school in a few weeks?" Luca asked his sister.

"Granite Hills Academy, one of the most prestigious academies in the area and father got us in. It will be fun but oh so boring like we will know no one there. Why can't we stick with the tutors he hired for us, they worked fine for four years, what's another two?" Jade said, rolling her eyes.

"I think he wants us to socialize with people more our age." Luca laughs.

"Isn't this" Jade motions to the entire room, "enough socializing?"

"I know it's been hard on you the most since mom's passing, you two were so close. But we need to be around people our age and have fun. Come on, I hear the trips this school does are amazing and I think you'll love them."

Jade takes a deep breath in, "You're right Luca, it's just I still miss her so much."

Luca reached over to take the jeulia heart-cut amethyst sterling silver pendant necklace Jade wears around her neck. He slides his fingers over the pendant and gives a soft smile. The necklace Jade wears was their mother's favourite of all her jewelry. This necklace marked their mother and father's 30th wedding anniversary.

"I miss her two, I keep a photo of her in my wallet." Luca placed the necklace back down.

"Same with me, I have the last photo we ever took as a happy loving family when we were at the cottage."

"Now come on and get up and mingle, you know it will make dad happy if you do," Luca said as he stood up and left his sister's side.
