Everything arrived the day before the gathering so everyone made sure their outfits fitted well before the gathering. On the day of the event, Jade spent the day getting pampered. She took a spa day to get her makeup, hair, nails and toes done. Of course, she picked a colour and design that matched her outfit. Yuri was home cleaning up the stubble that was growing in. He uses some hair gel to slick back his freshly cleaned and cut hair.

Yuri's family arrived early at the event so Yuri left his family to look around. He was waiting for Jade to arrive as he knew they were showing up. He overheard her talking about this day but never talked about the outfit she chose to wear. Yuri scrunched his nose as he spotted the three witches from school here. All three of the girls miss the target on the event's theme. They were all dressed more suited for the summer and in summer colours like bright pink, yellow and orange.

Yuri walks to the bar and gets a drink for himself. He leans on the bar top as he sips at his non-alcoholic drink. His family doesn't care if he drinks or not but with this event and he drove himself here he couldn't drink. The three witches spotted Yuri and ran over to him so they could talk. But they stop in their tracks as the doors to the hall open up to the Silverattii's walking in. Jade held her father's arm as they made their way inside. Jade's cape covered most of her dress hiding it underneath.

Dexter with his matching dark royal blue suit and cape to Jade's cape. Hugh is in an all-white suit with a light blue vest. Fernando is in a dark green suit with a white button-down. Blaise was in a black suit but it had images of fire all over from the jacket to the pants. Luca was the craziest in his family as he was in a suit that looked like a Christmas jumper, even the tie matched. Yuri's mouth dropped as he watched Jade walk in looking like a true queen of the snow. He also had to struggle to hold his laugh as he saw Luca's suit.

The better thing is that Lapin walks out from using the washroom wearing the exact suit Luca was wearing. The moment Yuri's eyes saw Lapin he lost it and laughed very hard. Lapin was so confused about what broke his friend so much to make him laugh.

"Man are you ok?" Lapin places a hand on Yuri's back as he is folded while laughing.

His laugh got the attention of many people along with the Silverattii's. Jade giggled and tried to hold it back seeing Lapin in the same suit as Luca. Luca looked and he tried to hold his laugh and to act like he was "Offended" that someone wore the same clothes as him.

Dramatic gasp, "How rude I spent so long picking this out and that disgusting man copied me."

Jade lost it to her brother's bad acting that he even tried to act pissed off. Luca marched his way over to confront Lapin and that's when Lapin saw the outfit he chose. Lapin burst out laughing but that broke Luca and he laughed as well. Blaise was laughing as well that someone had the same idea as Luca to wear that suit. Hugh and Fernando were holding their laughs as they both hate the suit and want to burn it but still find it funny.

Jade walked over handing in her cape to the coat check as it was rather warm in the ballroom. After checking it in she goes over to the three laughing hyenas. She places her hand on Luca's back to help him calm down.

"Well looks like my brother isn't the only one with a unique sense of fashion, hmm Lapin?" Jade was still giggling at the sight, "Guess I'm no longer the twin, that's you two."

"This was the best surprise ever to walk in on," Lapid said, wiping some tears from his eyes.

They all just laugh a little before trying to calm down. Yuri stood back up slicking his hair back and getting his composure back. He gives Jade a smile before his eyes go wide seeing her dress without the cape on.

"Wow Jade you are looking stunning as always," He gave her a quick wink.

"Thank you, but um you don't look on theme other than your tie and pocket square." Jade points out.

"Well, every wonderland needs a villain for the queen don't you think?" Yuri grins as he looks down into Jade's eyes.

"You are very much right, maybe this snow queen will win this fight," Jade grins and goes to get a drink for herself.

Lapin and Luca share a look at one another like 'were they just flirting just now?' They both shake their heads as there's no way they were flirting. Dexter did not like that Jade and Luca were being buddy-buddy with a Rostislav. Yuri's parents and sisters were not liking it either, hating seeing them so close. Luca, Jade, Yuri and Lapin hang around one another while talking about winter plans.

Jade noticed her father's glare towards the four of them. She motions for him to calm down and that they are fine with a smile. Dexter eases up but still does not like his one and only daughter mingling with a Rostislav. Dexter and Hugh are the only ones in the family that know the history. That's how they wanna keep it but Dexter gets the feeling Jade will ask, whether it's now or later. He doesn't want to tell her when they are going to school together so he just holds his tongue.
