Yuri slowly went back to his bed, laid back down and went to sleep. As his head hits the pillow his family runs into the hospital demanding to know where their son is. Luca asks if they got a girl named Jade and begins to describe his sister. The doctor walks them all to the two's room and he shows them, Yuri, first. The doctor brings Luca to his sister's room and moves the curtain.
"This your sister?" The doctor asked Luca.
"Jade," Luca went to hug his sister but the doctor stopped him.
"She is in really bad shape so be careful. We need a parent to come down and do some paperwork so get your mother and or father here soon." The doctor said before he left the room and left the families alone.
Luca walked over to his sister, taking her hand in his and kissed the back of it. When Luca had his moment to take in the state of his own sister he got his phone out. He rings up his father to give him the news.
"Papa, s-she's alive but hurt severely and we're at Blossom Valley Hospital." Luca does his best to hold the tears while talking to his father.
"We'll be there soon, if she wakes up, tells us. Stay strong my boy, she's a Silverattii I know she'll make it." His father said on the other end of the line.
Dexter hangs up the phone and leaves the meeting room. He didn't care about some bullshit meeting anymore, he was worried about his daughter. He gathers his other sons Hugh, Fernando and Blaise. They get into one car and make their way to the hospital. He didn't give 2 shits about the speed limit as he sped to the hospital. He avoided the bridge and took another to get there much faster. They got there in record time and all made their way into the hospital.
Hugh grabbed a doctor by the scrubs and pulled them to his face, "Where is Jade Silveratti NOW!"
The doctor shakily pointed in the direction of the room she was in. Hugh smiled and dropped the doctor and fixed his coat. Luca heard the commotion and rushed out the door, they all rushed to Luca. He showed them but everyone stopped seeing the Rostislav family there. Luca just grabbed his dad's arm and pulled him over to Jade's bed. Dexter looked at his daughter all bandaged up. He places his hand on the side of her head and glides his thumb over her cheek.
"Oh, mio dolce coniglietto, sii forte per noi." He bends down and kisses her forehead. (Oh, my sweet bunny rabbit, stay strong for us.)
"This is all your daughter's fault, I just know it. She nearly got our baby killed today." Nikita, Yuri's mom said with anger.
Dexter stormed over to her and got in her face. "You wanna say that to my face wench? My daughter is in far worse condition than your bastard of a son. So explain to me how my daughter started a massive pile-up on the highway?"
"Just shut up the both of you," Yuri said, pissed he was woken up by their shouting.
Dexter and Yuri's family's heads all shoot to see him awake.
"Oh my baby, you're awake." His mother rushed to his side and kissed his face.
"Stop it, mom," Yuri pushed his mom off him. "It was thanks to Jade I'm even alive right now. I was about to fall to my own death but she risked her life to save mine." Yuri looked at Dexter and gave a smile, "I owe her my life so thank you for raising a stubborn, hard-headed and strong daughter."
"Ha, that definitely sounds like my daughter. I'll leave your family alone for now boy, but better hope she makes a full recovery." Dexter glared at Yuri.
"I hope so too s..." Yuri stopped to the sound of coughing.
"Jade?" Dexter rushed to his daughter's side.
"P-papa, oh papa you're here." Her voice sounded rough as her throat was dry.
Dexter ordered Hugh to get his sister some water so he left the room in a flash. Her brothers held her hands as she saw she was surrounded by her family. She gave them all a big smile as they each gave her a soft hug and kisses on the cheek.
A doctor took Dexter out of the room and told him the extent of her injuries. The doctor even tells him the cost will be for everything. Yuri's parents walked out of the room and joined the doctor and Dexter.
"Even though we despise you, we want to say thank you to your daughter for saving our son. As thanks, we will pay for your girl's medical bill." Arseny, Yuri's father said to Dexter.
"Don't worry, the feelings are mutual there, but..." Dexter paused as he didn't want their help at all, "Thank you, for the sake of our children I'll be civil on this matter. Our past hatred for one another shouldn't be put on our children."
Hugh came back with the water for Jade and gave her a glass to drink. Their parents were getting heated out in the hall shouting. Everyone looked between one another confused as to why they got so angry so fast. Another doctor came into the room and went to Yuri's bed.
"You asked about a man named Lapin right?" She asked and Yuri nodded yes. "We are sorry but no one has him at other hospitals and his body hasn't been found. We believe he fell to his death during the crash, sorry for your loss." She patted his shoulder and then left the room.
