Zoo Trip Part 3

When they finished their meals Yuri and Lapin both just followed Jade around the zoo. They would talk amongst each other but would talk to her as well. Well, it was Yuri that did most of the talking as Lapin was terrified of Jade. Jade did her best to ignore the two stalkers as she walked all over the zoo. She took many photos of animals and herself. Yuri would photobomb her pictures. She had to delete many photos because of him getting in them.

Jade made it to her best friend's enclosure so she placed two fingers in her mouth and gave a whistle.

"BABY," Jade shouts.

Right away the white Bengal tiger gets up from her den and walks out. She makes the normal sounds a tiger makes, excited to see her mom. The tiger goes up to the cage and rubs her face on it right where Jade stands.

"Why is the tiger acting as if it knows you?" Lapin asked Jade.

"Cause I'm her mom, I helped take care of her when she was a cub," Jade smiles.

"Miss Silverattii her meal is ready if you would like to follow me," A zoo keeper said to Jade.

Jade leaves with the zookeeper and of course, Yuri and Lapin follow. They make it to her inside the enclosure where she eats her food. The keeper opens the door to let her inside and she goes right to the cage rubbing her face. Jade puts her fingers in the cage and gives her friend some scratches. Yuri reaches over to do the same but Jade grabs his wrist to stop him.

"If you try that she is gonna bite your fingers clean off, she has done it before as she only lets me touch her."

(Never do this, this is a fake story with fake characters.)

Yuri took his hand away and Jade got to go into the enclosure and hand feed the tiger. This is a deep bond Jade has with her and years of trust building. Once the tiger was finished with her meal Jade gave her all-around pets and scratches. The tiger rolls around enjoying the attention and belly scratches as she makes her happy noises.

The sun was slowly setting and the students knew it was time to leave. Jade, Yuri and Lapin made their way to the front of the zoo. All the students started to pile into the bus as it was time to go home. Jade got on behind Yuri and as he went to the back of the bus Jade sat down in the middle of the bus.

Yuri caught what she was doing so he sat down in the chair next to her before anyone else could. Jade pulls herself to the window of the bus just to try and put space between them. Jade puts her earbuds in and plays her music just loud enough that she will not hear Yuri. Yuri just places his hands behind his head with a smirk as he eyes Jade's phone.

The bus departs from the zoo and makes the trip back to the school. It was gonna be a long trip back to the school as there was quite a bit of traffic. Jade put her phone in her pocket, closed her eyes and rested her head on the window. She was gonna take a quick power nap before getting back. Yuri was playing a mobile game to try and pass the time.

The road had gotten bumpy as there was a lot of construction going on, on the bridge they had to take. With the shaking Jade's body moves to make her lean against Yuri. He moved his eyes from his phone to Jade and smiled. Yuri moved his arm and wrapped it around Jade's shoulders.

Neither of them knows the dangers that are about to happen and change their world forever.

Yuri's eyes snap from Jade's sleeping face to screaming ties and the bus jerking. He drops his phone, wrapping his body around Jade as the bus tries to avoid the accident. The bus flips onto its side throwing the students all over the place. Yuri gets hit in the head knocking him out cold. The bus continued to get hit by oncoming cars till it was pushed up against the guardrail. Many students rush to get off in a panic leaving their fellow students on the bus. One last push caused the bus to break the guardrail making it teeter on the edge.
