The newborn baby hasn't stopped crying since they left Amelia's house. The covens were packing up getting ready to leave town to go to the ceremony to take the baby's power.

" it's a baby we need to give her, her needs." Astra said as she grabbed a bottle and fed the baby. The baby drunk the milk before falling asleep." we need to go it's only a matter of time before the others find out what happened. Dune said putting the things in the car." Let's go." Astra said before they all got in the car and drove off.

" Davina did you find them yet." Elijah said on the phone with her." I am almost done." She said as she used her blood in a local bathroom putting it on the map and chant a spell. The spell stopped and she looked down.

" I found them they're heading out of town by car on the near back street." She said." we're heading that way." Elijah said." Is mom ok." Davina asked but no one said anything they still haven't told her about what happened to Amelia." We'll tell you when we get the baby back." He said before hanging up. The others looked at him." Let's go." He said before they got in the car and drove off.

The coven made it to the other house to get more equipment before they left town.

" hurry." One of the witches said as they grabbed more things. they heard screaming in the other room they ran in to see Elijah and the others killing them. One of the witches took off running she was about to get into her car when Elijah grabbed her neck." Let me go." They said as Elijah glared at them.

" where is the baby." He said slowly." I don't have to tell you nothing." She said smirking but stop when Elijah grabbed a hold of her heart." Where is she." He said one more time." She's with Astra and dune they're probably halfway out of town you'll never catch up to them." She said and Elijah rip her heart out." we'll see about that." He said before heading back into the house.

" you guys finish them off I'm going after Astra and dune." He said, they nodded and he left." let's get rid of their bodies." Stefan said but stopped when he saw maya standing there." Maya." He said." What are you doing, why are you killing my coven." She asked slowly." we had no choice I'm sorry Maya we..." he tried to walk up to her but she backed away from him." stay away from me." She said looking at him.

" I should've believed them, you are a murderer." she said." Maya please you don't understand they hurt one of us, they took something from us." He said." I don't want to hear your excuse, just stay away from me." She said before running away, Stefan sighs." don't worry about it stefan if she can't accept you of being a vampire then you shouldn't be with her." Marcel said as Katherine nodded." Let's just burn their bodies and go find the baby." He said as they got to work.

Astra and dune watch their surroundings as they were driving out of town they made sure no one was following them. as they were looking back they didn't notice someone standing in the middle of the street and before they did they ran into a tree. due to the noise the baby started to cry again.

Astra hold her head that was bleeding she saw that her husband wasn't in the car she turn around to see the baby was fine. she heard her husband scream before he no longer screamed. She got out the car slowly and started to run down the street. but she stopped when Elijah was in front of her with her husband's blood on his clothes his hands and his face.
