The next day, the family headed to Mystic Falls with Amelia, hoping to find a way to save her. Klaus also had called them and told them about the tree and how someone has the red oak.
Caroline and Alaric looked at Amelia who was laying in a bed in the nurse room. They slowly cut the light off and let Amelia rest as they went into the meeting room, only to see everyone arguing.
" we need to kill him as soon as possible or he makes a sneak attack and kills Hope when we're not looking." Klaus said angrily." hope's a tribrid, she can protect herself." Katherine said.
" you are not her mother you don't get to decide for her." he told Katherine looking at her angrily." excuse me I did help raise Amelia take care of hope so maybe you should show me more respect. At least I was more in her life then you'll ever be." She said and klaus grabbed her neck, holding her to the wall.
" you should choose your words carefully Katharina, my patience with you, are thin." Klaus told her, Marcel pushed him off of Katherine." lay a hand on my wife again, and you'll be answering to me." He said angrily.
Rebekah stood in front of her brother, and looked at Marcel.
" you hurt him, you hurt me." She told him and he looked at her." you really think that supposed to mean anything to me. Well guess, what it doesn't. I don't love you anymore Rebekah." He said and she looked at him..
" we've been in love for a century Marcel." She said." oh yeah, half of that centuries you were in a box. I found someone new, because you made it clear that you would choose your family all over again." He said and she looks down.
" enough!" Hope said startling everyone in the room." None of this is helping. My mom is dying in another room and there's a villain out there who wants me dead." She said and they stopped.
" we're sorry hope." Davina told her." I'm going to go spend time with my mother because I don't know how much I have with her. You guys find a way to stop acting like children and for once and act like your age." she said before leaving.

Later on, Klaus managed to find his brother outside, staring out into the woods.
" is there anything you need Niklaus?" He asked." I know that this is a bad time but I just want to see something." he told him and Elijah looked at him confused." I was hoping maybe you could show me some memories of your time with Amelia and hope." He said.
" are you sure?" he asked and klaus nodded." I missed everything with Hope, it would give me comfort to see." He told her.
" well, I can show you her first kick and her nursery but if you want to find her first steps, you're gonna have to go see Amelia." Elijah said, and he nodded. Elijah slowly grab the back of Klaus's neck before pulling him into a memory.
Flashback
Amelia was laying in her arm rest chair. She smiled when she felt her baby kick for the first time. She hold her stomach talking to her belly.
" I see you're finally alive for the first time." Amelia chuckles as the baby kicked again. Soon Elijah walked in on her talking to her belly.
"You okay Amelia." He asked as she looked at him." Just someone deciding to kick for the first time." She said and he walked up to her.
" can I." He asked and she nods. He put his hand on her stomach and felt the baby kick. They both jump before smiling.
" she's a very strong kicker, at least we both know where she got that from." He said and she smiled." Hi baby mommy's here." Amelia said holding her stomach.
" I can't wait until she's here." Amelia said and he nods." Me to." He said." Are you hungry." He asked and she nods." What do you want." He said.
" I am craving for a cheeseburger." She said and he smiled." coming right up." He said before getting up and leaving. Amelia smiled before looking out the window.
Flashback two
Amelia was sitting out on the porch when Elijah came in. She turns to him as he sat next to her.
" hey." He said." Hey." She said looking at him." sorry for what happened in your room." he said to her." it's Okay you did what you needed to do." She said laying in her chair.
" there's something that I need to show you." He said and she turns to him as he got up raising his hand. she grabbed it before he took her back into the house.
Elijah took her to one of the empty rooms in the house before he opened the door. Amelia's eyes widened when she saw the room.
A nursery room, Amelia walked in looking around. she smiled at Elijah before hugging him.
" thank you Elijah." She said hugging him." it's no problem everyone pitch in and helped with the room." He said as she kissed him." I love it." She said letting go, she sat in a chair in the room smiling." i'll leave you alone." He said before leaving the future mother in peace.
End of Flashback
Elijah let go of his brother and looked at him to see tears running down his face.
" this is all my fault, because of what I did, I didn't get to see one of my children growing up. Hope grew up to hate me." Klaus said and Elijah hugged his brother tightly.
" you can honestly say I'm jealous, my own brother was there for my daughter on everything and I wasn't. But it gives me comfort knowing you were there to protect her when I wasn't.." he said, and Elijah nodded.
" you may have missed everything in her life, but that doesn't mean you can't start a new one with her." Elijah said, and he looked at him." but what if it's too late, she already refuses any moment with me." Klaus said." give her time to warm up to you after all she is her father's daughter.
