Davina walked into the principals office to see Hope sitting in a chair looking down.
" Mrs. Anderson, so glad you're here." the principal said, and shook her hand." thank you, so what happen again?" She ask." Hope was fighting with one of our fellow students and broke their leg." The principal told her, and she looked at Hope who just rolled her eyes.
" he deserved it." Hope said and the principal look at her." I want no talking from you." The principal said before turning back to Davina." as you can see, we are expelling her from school for three days for this behavior." the principal said, and Davina nodded." thank you. I'll talk to her when we get home." Davina said before looking at her telling hope to get up. Hope got up and they walked out of the principals office. The two didn't say anything when they got in the car and drove home.
Once they got home, hope tempted to go into her room when Davina stopped her.
" oh, no, you don't young lady, you are going to explain to me what exactly happened that made you break someone's leg." Davina said strictly, Hope sighs before going in front of her." Well." She started.
FLASHBACK
Hope was bored out of her mind as she was watching the teacher do his lesson. Something that she already knew due to having aunts and uncles who are over 100 year old vampires.
Hope sighs in annoyment as a boy was throwing paper at her, half of the class started laughing, watching the scene." can anyone tell me when was George Washington born." The teacher ask looking around, no one raise their hand, so he caught up on someone." hope." He said waiting for her answer."February 22, 1732." She said simply." what a nerd." The boy said and they laughed, Hope turns to him as he looked at her smirking.
" it's not called being a nerd, it's just called being smart, which is something you're clearly bad at." Hope said and everyone in the classroom except the boy and the teacher laughed." class be quiet." the teacher said before continuing to teach. Once class was over Hope walked up in the hallway going to her next class. As she was walking, a boy pushed her to the ground.
" come on Hope you have so much shit talking to say in class. Show me what you got." The boy said and his friend snickered. Hope got up and calmed herself down before she kills this dude." would you go away? I have more important things to do than to waste my life on you." Hope told him. He tried to hit her, but she blocked it." Ohhh." some people said, as the boy missed, he glared at Hope." that was just a warm up." He said and she chuckled." are you sure about that, because it seems too easy." Hope said before slapping him on the face." Hey...stop it." The boy said." Why your the one who started it." She said before kicking him in the leg. The boy fell but got back up again.
" hey." He said before getting." you better stop, don't want someone to go call your mommy. Oh wait, I forgot your mom left. Serves her right, you are pathetic." The boy said, Hope glared at him before mumbling a spell breaking his legs. He screamed out in pain and fell to the ground." The only one who's pathetic is you." She said." HOPE ANDERSON.
END OF FLASHBACK
" Hope what the hell, you could've killed him." Davina told the girl." oh, so your less worry on how he talked about mom." Hope said and Davina sighs." hope I know you're hurting, we looked everywhere for mom, but she hasn't shown up. Maybe she doesn't want to be found." Davina said." or maybe she's been kidnapped, me and uncle Elijah saw blood, a lot of it and mom is cloak so I can't find her." Hope said.
"Hope please stop trying to make this hard on me. I have a job, I have a kid to raise, I have to raise you and you're not making it easy." Davina said." well, maybe instead of complaining, you can help me find MY MOTHER." Hope said before going to her room and slamming the door. Davina sighs as Diego came behind her, hugging her." give her time." He said." it's been eight years. How much time does she need?" Davina said." she was only seven when her mother went missing, give her a break." He told her, Davina nods." Mommy." Somebody said." Our son need you." He said chuckling." Coming Noah." Davina said before looking at her husband and going upstairs.
Hope laid in her room with tears in her eyes. How could Davina be so careless, her own sister. Their mother was missing and she didn't make an effort to finding her, sure she did for two years but gave up. Aunt Katherine and uncle Marcel are living their life in Oklahoma with uncle Stefan and aunt Maya. Uncle Elijah went his own way, he couldn't handle the pain without having her mom around. And here she was all the way in Nebraska, Omaha with her sister Davina, her husband, Diego, and their son Noah.
Hope look at a picture of her mom and smiled a little, remembering a memory. After they defeated Azazel, her mom made the decision to allow hope to go to the Salvatore school. But she didn't get to make the arrangements since she went missing that same day. Her family tried to allow Hope to go to the school so that it could make her mom happy even if she wasn't here. but Hope couldn't handle the pain of her mother not being with her on her first day of school so she stayed back and went to a human school. Hope rolled out of her bed, going into her restroom turning the shower on before crying in it.
