"so.... what exactly are you into?" kate asked peter as her, peter, y/n, and yelena all walked around the mall together, sipping on their slushys.

"you seemed like you liked movies.... let's get some posters." y/n said as she remembered how excited peter got when she showed him the theatre room at the tower yesterday.

"yeah i uh... i really like star wars." he mentioned to them, hoping they wouldn't make fun of him.

"nerd." yelena said in between sips.

"she's kidding." y/n said, and glared over at yelena who was still just slurping her slushy.

"lena your gonna get a brain freeze if you keep chugging it back." kate told her, but she didn't care.

"alright they have posters in here." y/n said as she started walking in the direction of the poster store, but yelena had her eyes on another place.

"ouuuu can i go in the toy store." she said, and pointed to the store across from them.

"i mean.... they probably do have star wars stuff." kate mentioned.

"it's settled, we're going." yelena said, and pulled kate into the toy store with her, leaving y/n and peter alone to get posters.

"thanks again for doing this. you guys really didn't have to." peter said to the girl.

"peter stop thanking me." she said and chuckled. he smiled and nervously laughed back.

"i kinda like this too." he said as he pointed out a nasa poster.

"you like space?" she asked as she looked up at him.

"who doesn't." he said back, and she laughed.

"hold on..." she said, and started speed walking away, making peter confused. she ran across to the front of the toy store, and yelena and kate looked over at her as they looked at stuffed animals.

"star wars and space stuff!" she yelled to her friends, loud, but not super loud, and they both gave her a thumbs up, and she ran back over to peter who was laughing at her.

"seriously?" he asked her as he still laughed.

"what? it was important information." she said, and shrugged her shoulders as she continued to search through the posters.

"nope. they aren't ready." tony said back to steve as he turned around to walk to the kitchen.

"i disagree." steve told him, trying to keep the conversation calm.

"tony they could be a big help." nat added as she defended steve and his idea.

"or they could be a big pain in the ass. or worse.... get there asses killed." tony said back to her.

"y/n is more powerful then any of us besides thor. i say we need her." clint added.

"that's true. i'm still the strongest avenger." thor said after that, and bruce shook his head at his comment.

"they are still training." tony pointed out, still talking to steve.

"exactly and this could be apart of that, it's not that big of a mission." steve told him.

"peter has been here for one day and you wanna send him out on a mission?" tony asked steve, and he nodded his head.

"no. your crazy." tony said back to him.

"tony i'm not asking your permission, i'm trying to have a conversation." steve said slightly annoyed.

"and i'm telling you, my daughter is not going on that mission tomorrow." tony said in a stern voice, then the avengers were distracted by the elevator ding. tony and steve continued to stare at eachother annoyed as the rest looked over at the elevator.

"what the hell?" sam asked as he watched what was coming out of the elevator, and his reaction gained both tony and steve's attention.

"what am i looking at right now?" tony asked as he watched his daughter and her three friends walk out of the elevator holding probably at least thirty shopping bags.

"what? we went shopping." y/n said in response with a huge smile on her face.

"what..... did you buy all of walmart or something?" clint said sarcastically.

"no.... would you like us to?" kate said to her father with a smirk.

"god no." tony answered quickly, knowing that they probably would actually do that.

"did you get more pop tarts?" thor asked them excitedly.

"you have like seven boxes..... don't be greedy." yelena said to the man, and he frowned at her comment.

"well we got some things for peters room, but then we saw that forever twenty one had a sale so we had to go." y/n explained to the adults.

"did you though? did you have to?" tony asked, slightly mocking her words.

"yes! look at this vest." yelena said as she pulled her vest out of her shopping bag, and held it up in front of her to show the rest of the room.

"she's got a point... i mean it is a nice vest." sam said as he looked at the vest she was holding up.

"no it's not." bucky said blankly as he stood against the wall with his arms crossed. yelena stuck her tongue out at him like a toddler.

"listen guys... we wanted to talk to you guys about something-"

"no we don't." tony said quickly, not letting steve finish his sentence.

"really tony?" steve asked as he looked over at him.

"really rogers." he said back, and steve just shook his head.

"i sense tension here." kate whispered to her friends, and they both nodded there heads in agreement as they watched the two men argue.

"you don't call all the shots here tony." steve said back to him, and tony nearly laughed at his comment.

"considering my names or everything and i pay for and make all the things ya.... i'd say i sorta call the shots." he explained, and nat rolled her eyes at him.

"do you take anything seriously?" steve asked him, very annoyed now.

"yes actually.... i do."

"do you think they'll notice if we just leave?" y/n asked the other kids as her dad and steve still argued.

"no... they seem pretty occupied." peter responded.

"okay let's just casually leave and maybe they won't notice." kate said as she started tip toeing away from the adults, then yelena followed, then y/n, then peter. then when the four of them got far enough, they booked it down the hall and all started giggling and laughing on there way down to peters room.
