The avengers were in the middle of their battle with the robots, and they were actually doing well.
However, Ultron noticed this.
And didn't like it.
He decided to fly towards the church, but vision flew up and stopped him. He blasted him with the mind stone and pushed the evil robot back and out of the church. Thor turned around and collected lightning with his hammer before sending it at Ultron, and Tony used his suit to laser him.
After a few seconds, the three of them stopped. "You know..... with the benefit of hindsight—" ultron tried to say, but was cut of when Y/N flew over, and used her powers to throw ultron dozens of feet away.
Vision, Tony, and thor all just looked over at her. "I think that's the farthest I've thrown something." Y/N said with a small smile on her face.
Instead of the rest of the ultron bots bothering to try and battle the group of heros again, they decided to fly away.
"They're trying to leave the city." Thor said in realization.
"That's bad." Kate said, pointing out the obvious.
"Hey uncle Rhodey.... you got incoming." Y/N warned Rhodey over comms.
"I'm on it." He said back to the girl, then flew at the group of robots that were trying to leave the city.
"We gotta move out..... even I can tell the air is getting thin." Steve said to the avengers.
"You guys get to the boats..... Me and buck will sweep for stragglers. Right behind you." The super solider added.
"What about the core?" Clint asked as he looked over at the vibranium core in the middle of the ground.
"I got it." Y/N said as she stepped up in front of it.
Tony turned his head to looked over at his daughter. "Nope. Your getting on the boat." He instructed, not wanting to leave her alone with the core.
"Tony let her." Steve said to the man as he took the young girls side instead of her fathers.
Tony stared at steve for a second not knowing what to say, then looked back over at his daughter. "As soon as I give you my signal.... you get on that boat." He demanded. She gave him a small smile before saying "you got it boss." And Tony flew off.
Then Peter walked up to her.
"Y/N.... I could stay with you and—"
"Parker I'm fine..... just get on the boat alright?" Y/N interrupted Peter.
"Alright...... just be careful." He said to her as he started walking backwards out of the church.
She just glared at him. "I'm always careful." She said, not sounding very convincing.
