(A/N: Well, here we are again. Hope you missed me and this story. Anyway as I said before, right now next chapters will be about second DOA
Hope you'll enjoy this one.)
I was still sitting on same sofa in Snowdin and was just staring at my own knees with mixed feelings such as... Confusion, fear and most importantly... I simply didn't know what to do now. I was looking just like some lost child that lost his way home.
In fact, it was some sort of true. I really was just a lost child that lost his path... And his family. I mean, I can easily kill this Chara and go away from here just like nothing ever happened, but at the same time I knew that monsters will be doomed on living down here anyway. Forever. And Chara's death won't make this easier. Not to mention about DOA and Chara... I wonder how they're doing...
- Kid? - suddenly I heard Papyrus's voice that woke me up from my own thoughts.
- Yes?
- What happened? You look... Depressed, - he stated. It was kinda amusing since he could see my expression through my mask.
- I... - I tried to answer, but then went silent and looked away, - I failed.
- You failed? - Papyrus got a bit surprised, but then sat near me, - I thought you told me that you can easily defeat human's determination. Or that actually didn't work out?
- No, not really. I... I met her. I met the human you were talking about.
- Yes? - Papyrus asked in little impatience, - And?
I quietly gulped before the actual answer.
- Her name is... Chara.
- Chara? Did you just ask her name before killing her or what?
- No. I know her, I met her before... In my universe. But I'm not sure if she's the Chara I know. She can't be just as cruel as..! - I tried to finish, but then went silent. There is no need to talk about HIM.
- So... Did she try to kill you in your universe and everyone else like mine one?
- No... Actually she was my girlfriend.
Before everything went straight into abyss.
- Oh, - Papyrus nearly dropped his cigarette in surprise, - And your Chara wasn't some psycho that was trying to murder everything that moves?
- No! And that's the main problem of mine! - I exclamed in little panic, - I can't kill her in cold blood just like that! I... I'm not ready for that... Besides, if she'll die - monsters are going to suffer anyway! Just like you said!
- Hey, I was just making a theory! No need to belive it straight away! - he tried to calm me down, but that didn't work out.
- But it's logical! Monsters are going to ran out of supplies eventually and so they're going to suffer from starvation! - after that I calmed down a bit and made a deep sigh, - I... I just don't know. I wanted for everyone to be safe, but only making this worse.
After that we spent some time in complete silence while looking somewhere in abyss in confusion. But suddenly...
- But you can jump through alternative universes, right? What if you will provide starving monsters with supplies from other universes?
- That won't work out. I'm too slow to watch for every starving universe and there is BILLIONS of them. And if I'll be talking away supplies from other universe - that universe will be starving instead of the other one.
- That's fair, - Papyrus stated and then we went silent again. But after a while he finally made a really deep puff on his cigarette and letted out smoke from his mouth, - Then looks like you have no choice. You need to talk with her.
