Chapter 3
“Isn’t this dress beautiful, princess Layla?”, the maiden asked. “Oh, it’s gorgeous”, Layla smiled sweetly. “It is absolutely terrible!”, she thought to herself. The dress was huge, pink and with such a tiny waist, she was sure she would suffocate. It was hard being the perfect princess her parents wanted her to be. It was hard to always be good, sweet and charming but nothing more. Layla hated her life.
An hour of:

“Isn’t this perfect?”

“Oh it’s wonderful?”

“This matches your Hair perfectly”

“Oh you are so right”

Followed.
By the end of it Layla wanted to cry. Being a princess was terrible.
A knock on her door startled her. “What is it”, she called, trying to keep calm. The only thing she really wanted to do was hide under her bed from all of these annoying people who wanted her to look perfect. “It’s me Lissi”, the person on the other side of the door whispered. Layla ran to the door and opened it with a wide grin:” I thought you would never manage to slip past the guards again!” “Well we have our ways”, one of Lissi’s five friends giggled. Layla smiled. Lissi and her friends were the only good thing about her live. They were citizens of the kingdom and Layla’s only friends. Her parents didn’t like her hanging out with “normal people” but that didn’t stop Lissi and her friends from sneaking in now and then.
“Today we have something special planned”, Lissi grinned mischievously: did you ever go to a club, princess? Cause we are planning on taking you to one. And just that you know: if anyone finds out you are the princess they will captured you. But there are also some nice people. You can play cards, with real money and dance.” “But it is dangerous”, Layla said nervously:” there are dangers in every corner!” “I know!”, Lissi laughed:” it’s fun!”
