“We should find her”, the Jedi said:” she could be kidnapped” “I don’t really care, but fine”, Jade sighed.

The streets were dark and Layla was terrified. She had never been outside the castle walls. Weird sounds and smells came from the dark side paths. Everyone she crossed paths with seemed to stare at her with an evil grin. “They probably all want to kill me”, she whispered to herself. “Probably, or they want to sell you as a slave!”, a voice from behind her suddenly said. Layla spun around ready to defend herself. But she was surprised to see creepy-droid eye-woman and Qui-gon. “What do you want?”, she asked trying to look intimidating. “We wanted to warn you of the dangers in the streets by night.”, Qui-gon explained. “He wanted to warn you”, Jade added:” I just wanted to scare you!” “You are mean”, Layla hissed. “Nope I’m still not scared of you kid!”, Jade laughed. Layla just went away without another word. Jade really reminded her of a school bully from those books she loved to read and the best thing to do was ignore them even if they had blasters. To her relief she arrived Home safely without Jade annoying her anymore.

“Seems like you were right”, Jade snorted as they watched Lily walk into the palace:” she is really the princess! Maybe she is even the traitor.” “I don’t think so”, Qui-gon replied:” but if she goes to this club again, we can ask a few questions.” Jade just walked towards the hotel. “Oh yeah as you were getting our hotel rooms I talked to some shady guys”, she broke the silence after just a minute: "he said something about a meeting at a famous lake tomorrow. Seemed quite suspicious. Do you know any lakes around here?” Qui-gon thought for a moment then he answered:” Maybe lake Aurum. Many people go there, but if they were talking about something sinister, it would be the perfect cover. So many people talk there, no one would notice a few people who were up to something.” “Great”, Jade smiled:” then I’m going to that lake tomorrow to investigate.” “Why can’t I come with?” Qui-gon asked. “Cause you can’t”, she said, walked into her room and shut the door. Inside she giggled quietly at Qui-gons stunned expression. She nearly felt sorry for the Jedi Master, but just nearly.
