Chapter 11
Quietly the two snuck through the dark alleys looking for signs of the guards. Qui-gon suddenly felt their presence in a nearby street. “They are close”, he whispered to Jade. “Great then let’s scare them a little”, she smiled. Like cats on the hunt they snuck towards the guards not making a single sound. Stealthily they ducked behind a couple of parked speeder bikes. Qui-gon placed a hand on his lightsaber. “Ready”, he asked. “Ready as I’ll ever be”, Jade grinned. In a flash the Jedi activated his emerald lightsaber and Jade fired her first blaster bolt hitting one of the guards and stunning him. It was easy to defeat the guards. Qui-gon blocked every one of their shots and deflected them back at their arms or legs. Jade didn’t miss a single shot and doged any bolts fired at her.
In a few minutes they had defeated all of them. “You will regret this!”, the head guard hissed clenching his wounded elbow. “I never regret anything”, Jade smiled” what’s done is done! And you are definitely done! You lost.” Triumphantly she took out her commlink and contacted the royal family. It only took minuets for them to take the traitors and question them. They admitted to everything. But Qui-gon wasn’t really listening he could feel something dark coming closer and closer. Another Vision hit him. A shadowy figure walked towards him. Then it ignited his red blade. He also ignited his blade but it was blood red. “You okay?”, Jade asked bringing him back to reality. “This is not over”, he murmured:” something is coming!”
