Pov: Seraphina Angela
"Does it hurt a lot?" Leo asks me out of the kindness of his heart and leans closer to inspect my wound, I roll my aching shoulder and shrug.
"Not too much but your brother surprisingly said he'd take care of it, so I'm waiting on that," I reply and look at Vince on a call behind a pillar in the dining hall. That man is always working.
I subconsciously roll my shoulder again, trying to work out the aching stiffness. "I think he's come to taking a liking towards you, I'd say take advantage of it & get on his better side," Leo tells me with his eyes fixed on the ground.
"Does he even have a better side to get on?" I joke and Leo softly scoffs, his eyes not leaving the ground, until he looks up to meet mine. There was an unfamiliar emotion-stirring through them, almost a melancholic one.
He kicks off the wall he was leaning on and stuffs his hands in his pockets, rather awkwardly, "Yeah I've never seen it but maybe you might, anyway, I'm tired. I'm going to sleep, good night Bellissima," he breathes out and I smile.
Before I could say anything else I hear Vince call out for me, I turn to see him ending the call & lowering his phone, I give him a tight-lipped smile in response.
I face Leo again, "I have to go too I guess, good night Leo, sleep well," I tell him and watch as he flashes me his adorably sleepy smile.
He leans down and places a soft kiss on my cheek, "Take care of yourself, I'll see you tomorrow morning." With that, he walks away from me.
I walk toward Vince and look up to meet his eyes, his gaze assessing my face, "Is your brother okay?" I worriedly ask him and turn to see Leo gone. He didn't seem all that well.
Vince moves his gaze to my cut and stares at it, "Yeah he's probably just tired, now let's get that wound of yours treated before any external or internal bleeding worsens." He states.
I nod and we head toward our room, my mind strays to my father and all the bullshit he's put me through, I wince at the grotesque memories and suddenly grab ahold of Vince's hand. I intertwine my fingers through his, not thinking twice about it.
He surprisingly lets me and holds onto my hand, we continue walking like it's something completely natural for us, I like that.
The minute we reached the door, the striking pain shot up my arm like fire, making me cringe.
I don't acknowledge it and follow Vince into the bathroom, he closes the door behind us and I take a deep breath, trying to collect myself.
"Uh, the first aid kit's under the sink, can you give it to me please?" Vince asks and rubs his forehead, he must be exhausted too, I'm tired but not tired enough to sleep.
I bend down and hand over the small first aid kit, I smile as he pats the slab top of the sink, "Sedersi [sit]" he instructs and I raise my eyebrow at him as I take a seat on the cold marble slab.
