Frustration #18

General POV

The boys are sitting on the boat drinking as the girls swim.

"Guys I'm really not wanting to face my parents" pope says nervously looking down.

"Pope they are your parents they won't hate you but they might be a little angry so try not to stress too much" John B says tapping him on the shoulder.

"Yeah, pope you always stress to much you don't need to worry." JJ says.

Pope stands up and looks at JJ "I don't stress to much JJ! You just don't have anything to stress about, I mean both your parents left you! Pope yells at JJ.

JJ looks down at his beer. It was already hard enough on him, Pope didn't have to remind him of the pain.

Meanwhile the girls hear this fight and the second Pope started talking Kie had already begun climbing back on the boat with Sarah and Cleo following right behind.

"POPE!" Kiara yells "what is wrong with you!" she walks in front of him looking directly at him. Pope is angry and everyone can see it.

"Mind your own business!" He says and slaps Kiara across the face almost making her fall and he instantly regrets what he did. JJ immediately shoots up in front of Pope pressing his forearm against Pope's chest.

"Don't. Ever. Touch. Her. Again" JJ says angrily in Popes face. Pope scoffs and JJ grabs his shirt leaning him over the edge of the HMS Pogue.

"I'm not telling you again" he says to Pope. JJ swings him around, away from the edge, pushing him to sit down.

Kiara was crying, not because of the pain, but because one of her best friends just did that to her.

JJ pulled her into a soft hug as he rubbed her back. It was soothing and they both needed it.

I vote Pope off the boat" Sarah says raising her hand. "I second that" Cleo adds.

Everyone raises their hand. John B takes the wheel and takes Pope to the Château dock dropping him off.

"I'm sorry for what he said to you" Kie whispers into the crook of his neck. "I'm sorry for what he did to you, it was my fault" JJ says with a couple tears running down his cheeks.

"How was it your fault?" She asks him pulling away slightly so she can look in his eyes. "I made him mad and he took it out on you" he says looking down.

"You need to stop blaming yourself for everything that happens to me, I'm okay and none of it was your fault." She says lifting his head up so he looks at her. "Ok, I'm sorry" he says smiling.

She hold his hands in hers. "Stop saying sorry" she says also smiling. "Oh, sorry" he says realizing he did it again.

John B, Sarah, and Cleo share a very happy look with each other knowing these two people are perfect for each other.

She laughs and leans in kissing him. "I love you" she says slightly pulling away and putting their foreheads together. "I love you more" he replies.

"Not possible" she says laughing. "Wanna bet" he says before he pulls her into another kiss wrapping his arms around her waist.

They both pull away and sit down as Kie lays her head on JJ's shoulder. "Wanna go eat at the Wreck?" Kie ask everyone.

"Yeah, that sounds good" John B says driving the boat in that direction. "Usually nobody is there from 3:00 to 4:00" she adds.

Sounds like a plan" JJ adds.

They arrive at the dock closest to the wreck and tie the boat. They all get off the boat as Kie and JJ walk hand in hand.

Just like Kie had said, nobody is there. They get a table and talk. "Wasn't that so weird for Pope to lash out like that?" John B asks.

"Yeah I have never seen him like that" JJ adds pulling Kie's chair closer to him so he can rest his hand on her thigh.

"I think all the stress is getting to him" Sarah adds in. Just then a waitress walks up and she takes there drink order.

She starts to get uncomfortably close to John B. JJ and Kie glance over at each other and then look at Cleo and Sarah. They all are extremely confused.

She walks away to go get their drinks and the second she turns away Sarah says "what the hell is up with her."

"I don't know, but it is definitely weird" Cleo points out. "Dude she was all over you" JJ adds.

"Yeah and I hate it" Sarah says. "Maybe it isn't like that" John B says playing with his keys.

"Oh it definitely is" Kie adds. "I'm going to the bathroom" Sarah says getting up and heading over to the restroom.
