General POV
" I heard y'all had fun" Sarah says winking at Kiara.

"Lots of it" JJ winks at Sarah. Kie slaps the back of his head shooting back a smile.

"Oh my god" Pope starts walking back over to Cleo trying to completely ignore what's going on. At this point John B has avoided any eye contact with Kie and JJ.

"C'mon Popey don't be upset" JJ says, wrapping his arms tighter around Kiara.

"Hey guys I need to leave and go see my pops cuz he'll be more pissed the longer I wait" Pope says, standing up.

"Yeah I guess I need to do the same" Kiara says softly, looking down at the ground. JJ can feel she is upset and he wants to fix it, but he knows nothing he would say or do can fix her hatred towards her parents.

JJ pulls her into his chest tighter trying to give her as much comfort as he could. "It'll be ok don't worry" he whispers into her ear.

She turns around leaning her head on his chest as he rubs her back. Sarah pulls John B over to the porch letting JJ and Kie have their moment. "Pope, Cleo let's go" Sarah whispers as she motions to the door.

They follow Sarah out the door and Pope leaves to see his dad.

Kiara let's a few tears fall and JJ takes notice and pulls her head up towards his. "It's ok, I promise" he says while wiping her tears away with his thumb.

"Will you come with me to meet my parents?" She asks, choking back tears. "Of course I will baby" he says pulling her into another hug.

"Can we go now and get it over with?" she asks softly. "Yeah that's sounds like a good idea" he responds.

They walk to the porch and head over to John B. "Hey JB can we have the keys to the Twinkie" JJ asks.
"Yeah, here" John B throws them the keys.

JJ and Kie walk out to the car and drive over to her house. They start to see Kiara's house and she puts her head in her hands.

They slow down and stop in front of her house and he realizes she is leaned over and quietly crying. "Hey, hey, hey" he says as he pulls her over into a hug. "I'm right here and I always will be" he says continuing to rub her back.

"I'm sorry" she says lifting her head up and wiping her tears from her cheeks. She was never this soft and she doesn't know what changed. She's embarrassed of herself.

"Stop saying sorry Kiara. You should never be sorry for being upset or stressed or worried" he says cupping her face with his hands.

"Let's get this over with" she says putting on a smile.

They walk up to the door and she stands there frozen debating whether she should ring the doorbell.

JJ grabs her hand and gives it a squeeze reassuring her that everything will be ok. She rings the doorbell.

Immediately her parents come running to the door. It swings open and her parents run to Kiara.

They hug Kiara but she doesn't hug back and she keeps her hand with JJ's. Anna and Mike lean back from the hug and Anna has tears streaming down her face.

Kiara can spot her fake emotions for miles. she pulls away from the hug and leans into JJ getting further away from her parents.

"Kiara get away from him" her mother says sternly motioning with her hand to come inside.

JJ knew they would do this and he isn't surprised. He doesn't move, he doesn't talk, he just supports Kiara.

Mike and Anna see the scars all over there daughter and immediately shoot a glare towards JJ.

"He did this to you, didn't he" Anna says, grabbing Kiara's arm. "Mom, stop!" She yells ripping her mom's arm of her shoulder.

"Anna hold on we don't know what happened" mike starts. "Yes we do, and this is why she shouldn't be hanging around dirty pogues."Anna shoots back. "Anna!" Mike yells.

"Both of you stop it!" Kiara yells. "He didn't do this! He never would. He was the one who helped me. He was the only one who came looking. Don't say anything about him or the pogues. They are more of a family than you two will ever be."

"Kiara!" Her mother yells crossing her arms "you are a horrible daughter, you always have been"

Mike gives Anna a glare "don't say that Anna" he says.

"And you" she starts as she points to JJ "you will end up just like your father" she screams. "Stay away from my daughter" she finishes.

"You know what, I'm done with your shit. Mom I won't stay away from him, I never will. I love him and he loves me" she lets a few tears fall "he's my boyfriend and he takes care of me and would do anything for me. I need him but I definitely don't need you."

"You both are worthless" Anna screams and slams the door.
