Keep Going ~Jiara~

Comfort #2

JJ POV

I lay down in my tent with John B and Pope and the three of us can still here there giggling. I listen for a few moments but I don't here Kie. I assume she is asleep and just carry on talking with the boys.

It is now midnight and I wake up to hear light sobbing on the beach. I get up shifting the blanket around so I do not wake up the others and I start walking to the shore. I see a beautiful girl with curly brown hair sitting down facing the waves while sobbing into her knees.

"Kiara?" I ask softly trying not to spook her, "are you ok?" She doesn't answer she only turns to look at me and I can't help but run up and hug her. We sit on the beach for a couple minutes just enjoying each others company. She starts to quietly cry and I just hold her tighter knowing she probably doesn't want to talk about what happened.

She puts her head on my shoulder and tells me "I'm scared to go back JJ, I don't want to be sent away without all of  you to some place where nobody will accept me," she lightly sobs. "Hey, hey, hey, I promise nothing will happen to you as long as I am alive I promise. And besides, let's enjoy the time now instead of thinking about the future"
She nods and lifts her head up looking into my eyes I just want to crash my lips onto hers but I know it might end up ruining our friendship, besides she and pope had just been ended. "Kie you should probably get some sleep," I tell her as I start to get up.

She looks at me and asks "hey JJ can you stay here with me?" I tell her "of course, just let me grab a blanket. I will be right back." As I start walking back I can see her laying on the beach with her curls sprawled out on the sand. I lay down next to her gently trying not to wake her up. I carefully snake my arm around her waist  and rest my chin on top of her head. I wish this moment could last forever.

I wake up first not realizing I get to hold Kie in my arms till she wakes up and once I realize, my heart fills with joy. I slowly turn my head to get a better look at her peaceful face just laying there, I know this is creepy but she is just so beautiful! The sun is rising and it is giving her face a luminous glow. I lay back down still holding her in my arms until she wakes up. She starts to shift a little slowly waking up. Once she opens her eyes and sits up, using her elbows as support as she looks into the ocean, I tell her "good morning princess." We are both used to my flirty comments that normally have no meaning but this one was a little different. She slaps me on the arm and rolls her eyes and we both chuckle.

Sarah pov

I wake up and only see Cleo in our tent so I carefully get up trying not to wake her while I go see if Kie is outside. I start walking towards the beach since I had checked the campsite already. I see THE Kiara in the one and only JJ's arms giggling and smiling all happy. I cant help but smile at this heart warming scene in front of me. I love the thought of JJ and Kie they could be called Jiara! It makes me so happy seeing Kie be happy because everyone had noticed how much sadder she was as the days went by of them being stranded and now she looks happy and bright like she used to be.

I go to wake up the others but first I shake John B awake and drag him to the beach showing him JJ and Kiara. I tell him my idea of Jiara and he rolls his eyes and keeps watching them and puts a smile on his face seeing his 2 best friends being so happy.

Me and John B walk back to the camp to wake up Pope and Cleo. The four of us sit by the fire and wait for JJ and Kie. "Hey have y'all seen JJ and Kiara?" Pope asks. I look at John B knowing whatever we tell him is going to make him mad and probably jealous since Kiara had just ended things with him. I jut tell him "they are on the beach watching the waves." He looks at me in disbelief and disgust and just walks back to his tent. "Really!" John B tells me.

"There was nothing else I could say, he already knew they were gone together. He would have gotten mad no matter what I told him."  "I know, and he shouldn't be acting this way if Kiara is finally happy even if it is without him. They are still best friends and he should be happy, right now he is acting selfish," John B adds as he shakes his head.
As I see John B start to get up Cleo tells him "hey he probably just needs some time, just let him cool off."
And that is what we did.
