Keep Going ~Jiara~

GIRL TALK #3

(This is when they both fall asleep with each other after JJ sees Kie crying )
Kie pov

Me and JJ just woke up with each other in the sand all snuggled up and I loved feeling the warmth of his body on my back. I could feel his hands trailing up my waist giving me butterflies whenever he gently squeezed, as he was still asleep. His legs are entangled in mine and there is no space between us.

He makes me feel safe and loved and something is happening with us but I don't know how to explain it.

I look over at him and he tells me "good morning princess" and all I can think is oh my god how sweet. I try and play it off like usual when he makes a flirty joke but this one actually made me really happy.

We start play fighting on the beach and I jump on him making him roll over in the sand grasping my waist.

I am hovering over him trying to keep him from throwing me off him and winning.

He pulls me down and rolls me over and I yell "JJ stop that tickles!" While uncontrollably laughing.

He doesn't stop and he keeps rolling us over and he is straddling my waist and holding my arms above my head so I can't push him off.

"Looks like I won Carrera" JJ says through his laugh

He lets me go and gives me his hand to help me up. I take it and sit with him while we talk and make jokes with each other.

I get a quick glimpse of Sarah looking over at us and she winks at me and I know she is gonna make me have a conversation about this later.

After a few minutes me and JJ decide to head back to the others, but when we get back everyone looks pissed.

I look at JJ and he just gives me the "I don't know" look.

We sit on a log by everyone else when JJ asks, "hey can somebody tell me what is going on because this is not how we were yesterday"

I nod in agreement and here John B speak up "look, I'm going to be straight up about this, pope sort of saw us looking at you guys by the shore and when we told him what we were looking at he sort of.....got jealous."

I look at Sarah in disbelief but she just gives me a reassuring nod.

We all just went on with conversations with John B and Sarah talking about there marriage and that crap and Cleo starts sharpening her knife.

JJ puts his hand on my thigh and whispers "it's not your fault, pope will be pope".

"I know but i still feel bad that he is upset because of me" I whisper back

"He will get over it, I promise. Don't worry yourself" he tells me giving me a sweet smile

He takes his hand off my thigh and gets up of the log announcing "hey I'm gonna go catch some fish anyone wanna come with?"

John B says "sure why not, we can have some bro time."

Me, Sarah, and Cleo give each other the "we are definitely going to have a girl talk" look, but i know Sarah is going to bring up what me and JJ were doing.

The boys walk away with there home-made spears going to get food and instantly when they are out of sight Sarah runs up and sits next to me.

"Soooooo, you and JJ?" She asks me while wiggling her eyebrows.

I instantly retort "WHAT!"

"So you see it too" Cleo asks Sarah

"Of course I see it, did you see them all cuddled up on the beach this morning looking like a freshly married couple" Sarah spits out in excitement

I cant help but start blushing at all these random comments "guys! Slow down, nothing is happening between us!" I tell them both

"Mhm sureeee because you just sleep together all night when you are friends" Sarah explains in a sarcastic way

"You have a point" Cleo says pointing to Sarah

"Oh my gosh we should call them Jiara" Sarah squeals while jumping around the fire pit.

"Fine fine fine, maybe I like him a little bit" I tell them

"Eeeeek finally, i so knew it!" Sarah says jumping around again

"Hold on so what happened last night? Why did you guys sleep on the beach?" Cleo asks while trying to get Sarah to sit down so they can listen to the story.

"So, I had been sad for the past few days before that and that night when we went to bed I had a dream" I start

Cleo and Sarah exchange interested glances

"The dream was more of a nightmare, it was about us arriving back at obx and me being sent off to boarding school and having to say goodbye to all of you. I woke up from the dream and felt like crying but of course I didn't want to wake you guys up."

"So you didn't tell us!?" Sarah asks concerned

I shake my head and continue the story "I got up and walked by the shore and sat down and let my emotions out. After a couple minutes I hear someone walking up and I turn to look and see JJ. He can tell I had been crying and ran up and hugged me." I continue

"Awwwwww" Sarah and Cleo both say at the same time

I blush but keep going, "the hug was really unexpected and it made me feel so much better and I felt safe. I broke the hug and we both sat down and I explained why I was crying. The best part though was when he didn't ask and he gave me time to feel more comfortable and then explain."

"Oh my goodness how sweet!" Sarah interrupted

I smiled and kept going "we sat and talked for a while and I think he noticed I was almost asleep so he told me we should head back and go to bed. Then I asked him if he would stay down by the beach with me and he told me of course he would stay with me.That made me feel so good to know somebody actually cared."

"He told me he would go grab a blanket and he would be back but I remember falling asleep before he got back"

"Keep going this is so interesting!" Sarah blurts out

"She is trying but you keep interrupting!" Cleo tells Sarah while rolling her eyes

"Next thing I know I am awake cuddled in his arms and thinking I never want to get up" I say as I finish the story.

"Now that is true love!" Cleo and Sarah say in unison.
