No Thanks, This Makes No Sense At All...

A/N: Happens. New chapter, new thing to read. Go ahead.

Alarm: "This is not a drill. Please evacuate to the nearest shelter immediately. I repeat. There have been precursory signs of impending spacequakes in this area."

Students are loading up into the bunker as warnings of a spacequake sound.

Tamae: "Don't forget your three D's! Don't push, don't run, don't walk?!"

Y/N: "It's don't die, sensei."

Tamae: "Thank you!"

Y/N: Damnit. Why did they have to force me down here? I should be up there. I hope they did this for her, too.

He tries to call Kotori.

Y/N: Even if there is a spacequakes, she'd keep her promise. I want to, too. I don't want to be a liar. We will be reunited. First, I need to find out how I can leave.

After a minute of nervous waiting, he hangs up the phone.

Y/N: It's useless to call. The commotion won't let up right now. Maybe her phone broke in the chaos. But it wouldn't hurt to check her location. If she's there, all the more reason to break out.

Booting up their shared location app, it shows that Kotori's phone is at the diner.

Y/N: She is! I need to get out of here. "She's there. She's at the diner."

Shido: "What?"

Y/N: "I'm going."

Shido: "That's insane!"

Y/N: "I know, but I'm her big brother.  I will always protect her."

He turns to the opposite way of the loading bay.

Shido: "Aniki, stop!"

Y/N runs out of the loading bay and heads forward.

Tonomachi: "Itsuka!"

Y/N: Nothing will stop me now.

He continues running as fast as he can through the street.

Y/N: I shouldn't get out of control. But if I use even a little of my-No! I won't. I can't allow myself. I must keep my energy at an infinitesimal amount.

He doesn't tire as he thinks of his family.

Y/N: I will protect Kotori. I promised her I would. Shido wants to protect her as well. I know he does. But he's afraid of the quakes. I would be, too. But my curse allows me to be more reckless. Kotori, I will be there.

He can't slow down, he refuses to. Even as alarms sound about the impending spacequake, he ignores all of them.

Y/N: Why would she be allowed to leave the evacuation area? Shouldn't somebody have stopped her? The cities falling apart right now. She shouldn't be here. Why would she stay here if she knows a spacequake is going on?

He turns the corner but is blasted away by the forming spacequake. He sent on his back.

Y/N: "That was it... A real quake. Right in front of me."

Everything in the vicinity was destroyed in a quick instant. The buildings that once stood there were all reduced to rubles.

Y/N: A spacequake... And it happened right in front of me. I could feel it in my bones. What am I doing, I need to get up and find Kotori!

He gets up and continues forward, looking around at the destruction around him. He sees a woman standing in the center of a crater. They lock eyes as Y/N stops in his place. She's about moderately sized with purple hair and eyes.
