Of All The Things, Why'd It Have To Be Kids?

A/N: Heya, I hath returned. I'm back. Things are pretty busy for me. But I always try to make time for my hobbies. So, let's start this new chapter.

On the Fraxinus, Y/N is trying to explain what happened to Shido.

Y/N: "I had her cornered and everything. I'd been planning around what Tohka said earlier. Then, there it was! Caught without any chance to deny it. Everyone was restored and the witch was vanquished."

Shido: "And that turned them into toddlers?"

Y/N: "Pretty much. After I won, she was fuming.  She's never accepted defeat well. She got furious at us for seeing her in that form. Then she used her angel and they all became kids. She transformed back into her adult form and left quickly after."

Shido: "What about Sensei and Tonomachi?"

Y/N: "They're fine. So are the other three girls."

Everyone enters the control room.

Reine: "For the time being, I'll have to ask you to look after all of them. Including Miku and Origami."

Y/N: "How do we explain this to..." Wait, her parents are gone. I hate to say it, but I guess Origami's fine. "What about Miku?"

Miku: "Don't worry, darling! I'm fine with staying over at your place."

Y/N: *He sighs* "Well, that settles that." What's this supposed to prove? That everyone can be just as childish? Is she planning to go on the attack? Now that they're kids they'll make easy targets? What point is she trying to prove with this?

He looks over to his side as he feels a small tug at his right sleeve.

Yuzuru: "Worried: What's wrong?"

Y/N: "I thought we'd be done by now. It's one problem after another. Sure, I didn't expect it to be as easy as just exposing her and then sealing her. But even still, I didn't think she'd still be toying with us." So they've kept their memories. From how it seems so far, they've also retained their personalities. But how much of their maturity have they kept?

Miku: "Darling! I need help!"

Y/N: "Miku?"

Walking over he notices Miku staring at her phone.

Miku: "My phone won't recognize me!"

Y/N: "Well, I'd hope so. You're a kid now."

Miku: "HEhHhh?! Can you not recognize me, darling?! Darling, it's Miku Izayoi! I-za-yo-i!"

Y/N: "I can recognize you."

He feels a slight pull on his right hand.

Origami: "Y/N, I'm tired."

Y/N: *He picks up Origami* "So am I."

Reine: "Of course. I'll send you all home at once."

Shido: "How should we handle them?"

Y/N: "Put them downstairs?"

Tohka: "Ooh! Like a big sleepover!"

Shido: "Exactly like that."

After Reine transports them back home, Y/N and Shido set up for their guests.

Shido: "Any idea about how we turn them back?"

Y/N: "We'll have to find Natsumi again. I doubt she'll make it easy again."

Kaguya: "Give it back! Give it back!"

She chases after Kotori.

Kotori: "It's my candy!"

Kaguya: "But I saw it first!"
