A/N: Inversion. When a Spirit's energy levels start reading overwhelming negative emotions. Eventually, that'll cause the Spirit to invert. Giving them unstoppable power, at the cost of what humanity they had left. Just how much humanity did Tohka have to lose?

Without a proper killing blow, Y/N was able to regenerate what parts of his body were damaged. Ellen was interrupted by Tohka's inversion, so she wasn't able to finish Y/N off. Y/N looks up at the mass of negative energy.

Y/N: "The hell?"

In the center stands Tohka. She bears a new look with a darker theme. Sandalphon also has a red energy, instead of its normal blue. 

Y/N: "She is... The legendary super sayain?"

He stands up.

Tohka(?): "Where am I?"

She points over to Miku.

Tohka: "You, woman. Tell me, what place is this?"

Miku: "Huh? Isn't this one of the DEM Industries Japan's Buildings."

Y/N: "It's the DEM Main Office Building."

Tohka: *She turns to Y/N* "I don't remember asking for your input. Either way. I've never heard of such a place. Now tell me, why am I here?"

Y/N: "Ellen, this one right here." *He points to Ellen* "Kidnapped you."

Isaac: "Wonderful. I've never seen such a clean inversion before. Behold, Ellen. This holds our dream. This holds our future. Time to get to work. This is the prey you were destined to hunt. O great wizard of humanity, claim the head of the evil Dark Lord. Use it as the first stepping stone of our path."

Ellen: "Yes. I know, Ike."

Y/N: "It won't be a fair fight." *He turns to Tohka* "Those two are going to try and kill you. But together, we can kill them!"

Tohka: "And why would I fight with you?"

Y/N: "I've held my own. Togethe-"

Ellen wastes no time and rushes to Tohka. But her swift blade is met with an equally ready sword. The force of their clash sends everyone back a little. Ellen, knowing she can't win a 2v1, directs the force of the shockwaves toward Y/N. He is sent flying into a wall.

Y/N: Damn it.

Miku: "Be careful! Are you alright?"

Y/N: "No... That hurt like hell." Wait! I can still complete my other goal! This powerup should allow her to fight on her own.

He quickly gets up and searches the room for Isaac. Meanwhile, Tohka and Ellen continue their fight.

Tohka: "You little-!"

Ellen: "You indeed seemed to have changed. Good to see you measuring u-"

She's forced to dodge Y/N throwing Spiresbane at her.

Y/N: "Hey Ellen, you missed a spot!"

The blood from his previous near-death experiences still stains his clothes.

Ellen: "I'll deal with you later, Y/N."

Y/N: "No one puts me on the back burner!"

Tohka: *She looks calmly at Ellen* "Who are you? Why are you pointing a sword at me?"

Ellen: "Sorry, but you have to die. All we need is your power!"

They seem equally matched as their swords draw powerful sparks from just a clash.

Y/N: Take aim and fire. "Hey Isaac, I have a surprise for you."

Isaac: "Are you going to croak over and die? Or are you going to reveal a Sephira, perhaps?"
