Let The Games Begin!

A/N: An interesting challenge has been issued from Natsumi. Find out who she's pretending to be or someone disappears. Along with this, Y/N also has to find a way to try and get closer to Natsumi.

With the new game being freshly revealed, Kotori summons the Ratatoskr crew.

Reine: "So these are the pictures that Natsumi sent?"

Kotori: "I'm one of these, can you guess which one? Find out before anyone disappears. That's what this message from her says."

Reine: "Taking the note literally, that means she's transformed into one of the twelve. And until Y/N guesses which one she is, these people will disappear one by one."

Y/N: "Right now only Rinne, Shido, and Reine are safe. But everyone else could be her."

Kotori: "Pretty much. But it doesn't look like she's specified a way for you to respond, or even a time limit."

Reine: "I doubt it was omitted by accident. I suspect that she wants to leave us in the dark in order to have complete control over the game. Maybe game isn't quite the right word. After all, there's no guarantee that whoever disappears will be returned safely."

Kotori: "Good point. Kurumi is proof of that."

Y/N: She's right. Kurumi was actually willing to kill everyone there. She could be the same way. But this time can be different. So far we have no reason to think she's wanting to kill everyone.

Kotori: "We can't be certain that Natsumi's just doing this to mess around. It's possible that one of these people will disappear forever..."

Y/N: "No..." *He looks down at the pictures* "She's not like that. While Kurumi proves that other Spirits work only towards their own agendas, Natsumi is different. She's specifically after me. She's using everyone else as a means of getting at me."

Kotori: *She leans in* "You sure seem to trust her a lot."

Y/N: "This is a game built on trust. She has to trust that I'll try and find her. Even without a time limit or specified rules. Even so, would you open your heart to someone you can't trust?"

Kotori: "Hehe." *She leans back* "When'd you become such a smooth talker? But you're right. We have to establish some trust of our own."

Reine: *She looks over to Kotori* "At any rate, we should begin our investigation. Sorry, Kotori, but I won't allow you to be a part of this mission."

Kotori: "Naturally. There's a chance I could Natsumi."

Reine: *She looks toward Y/N* "That means you're going to have to work a lot harder, Y/N. Luckily, though. It seems Rinne and Shin are clear."

Y/N: "So, what do we need to do?"

Reine: "For the time being, make a date schedule for each of these individuals. You can work with Shido on this. But you have to be there on every date. In order to see through Natsumi's disguise, you must be able to discern small inconsistencies in their behavior. Go on dates with each of them and look for those small nuances."

Y/N: Harder said than done. Unlike Origami, finding those small differences doesn't come easily to me. Wait! I could use the to prove her innocence! But. At the same time. I can't confirm how much of what she says is true. The Natsumi has already seen Origami work. She could throw around fake numbers and I wouldn't know the difference. "Alright, let's get planning."

He and Shido go to Y/N's room and begin planning.

Y/N: "So, how should we do this?"

Shido: "We've already divided the Spirits amongst ourselves, so we should be fine there."
