The night sky shines on. The moon is full. Everyone is moving their pieces. Because in this game of military chess, checkmate is not where the game ends. But it's what happens after the board is reset that'll determine how everything will go moving forward.

Y/N: "Tohka! Shido!"

He moves throughout the building while destroying any robot that gets in his way. He's forced to knock out several guards on the way. He grows more tired with each room. As he reaches another flight of stairs, he's hit by another territory.

Guard 1: "You've come far enough."

Y/N: "I will go further."

Guard 1: "It's no use! We'll lower the concentration of oxygen around you."

True to their word, it gets harder to breathe.

Y/N: Again? When will they learn?

He breaks through the territory with Spiresbane.

Y/N: "I won't warn you twice, leave."

He's hit with another territory.

Y/N: "Again."

Breaking out is useless as the many guards are ready to deploy a replacement. Maybe they can't harm him, but they can keep him there. But as Y/N breaks out again, the window crashes open and glass flies everywhere.

Miku: "Disappointing."

She lands on the ground and does a small spin.

Miku: "Gabriel: Solo."

She uses a single organ pipe to control the guards.

Y/N: "Hello there, Miku."

Miku: "Please stop defiling my name. You're putting stains in it that I could never hope to get out."

Y/N: "Maybe if I stain it enough, then you'll have no choice but to come to my level."

Miku: "Keep dreaming."

The other Spirits float close by.

Yoshino: "Onee-sama, what would you like us to do?"

Miku: "Well, let's see..." *She turns to the other Spirits* "Your Angels are too big for the hallways of this building. Would you be so kind as to make sure the Wizards outside don't make it here?"

The Spirits fly outside and start dealing with the Wizards. Y/N grips his sword with his right hand and continues forward.

Y/N: "Miku, why are you here? Was it honor? Was it pride? Or was it our promise?'

Miku: "Where did you get that idea from? Truth be told, I'd forgotten about that. I'm only here because I wanted that other Spirit in my collection."

She walks forward by herself.

Y/N: "Then, we'll be adversaries later."

Miku: "You got it wrong! I'm here to complete my mission. You can tag along like some worthless side-kick, if you'd like. But I don't want to see you anywhere in my sightline."

She turns around to face Y/N.

Miku: "So, where is Tohka?"

Y/N: "We have no real idea where, to be honest."

Miku: "You charged in without even finding out where she is? Do you have overcooked noodles for brains inside your unsightly lump of flesh?"

Y/N: "What, do you think I'd die for a virtual nothing? No, I have an idea."
