Fragments of time

Epilogue

Everymon, this is Spark, this is my first day writing my diary and I'm doing this secretly in the middle of the night back at Sharpedo Bluff. I've recovered from my injuries dealt by Froslass and I'm back with the sentry duty at the guild. I really love this job, it's high paid and fun at the same time. I don't have to battle other pokemon either, however it does get a little boring after a while.

I usually read when I have spare time, such as during the lunch and dinner break and when nobody is coming towards the guild. Sometimes I try to get more books, but Chatot told me to slow down a little, so I decided to start keeping a diary. It wouldn't be easy, but I decided to give it a try anyway.

It's a few days after dad's hatchday, time flies by, I guess. I still couldn't believe how I missed the moment when mom and dad proposed to each other, I woke up that day seeing Icy sticking her head into my fur. To be honest, I liked that feeling, so I stayed in that position for a while, until I felt Icy slowly wake up. I pretended to be asleep there so that I wouldn't get punched, I'm not sure how Icy fell asleep there, but that must have been something my sister did.

Right, I still can't forget what happened in morning quite some time ago...I woke up and saw mom puking and telling us that she was sick, while dad and her exchanged weird looks with each other.  The only thing I remembered was mom telling dad something about giving him his birthday present early.

Later that day, we went to the pokecenter to check on mom, then...we kind of found out that mom and dad had some fun the night before. Good thing I taped that book shut if Icy or my sister ever found it, I wouldn't want them to share the pain of knowing too much, a few weeks later, we got an egg as our new family member.

Dad and mom weren't officially married yet...or at least at that time. They weren't at the legal age to have kids either, however...Officer Nidoking, who was slowly recovering from his injuries decided to let it slide, since neither of them had a family.

Other than that, Zane and Petal went to somewhere near Fogbound Lake and decided to live a peaceful life there away from everymon else. Zane came here to visit us from time to time, sometimes taking Blossom and Icy with him on a few small adventures, while I usually chose to stay back.

Of course, choosing to stay here doesn't mean I haven't been training myself at all, I told the others that my shift ended at eight in the evening while I usually left at six thirty. During that time, I snuck off into Murky Woods to train myself, I've been feeling a little stronger every since I started that, though that might have been the cause of why the remaining small cracks in my bones were healing that slowly.

Brick, Marley and Andrew told us that they were leaving treasure town a few weeks after they got married. They told guildmaster that they had plans for their own future, while I realized that Chatot was starting to forgive and respect Brick's decisions.

Armaldo and Copper have been visiting town every once in a while, one day they came here with Rampardos, and asked guildmaster if he wanted to join them on their adventure to find fossil pokemon that were still alive. Naturally, guildmaster was only interested in perfect apples, so we bid farewell to the three and haven't seen them ever since.

Dusknoir who was left in town, kept doing his daily community service. One day, a few Sableyes came to town along with a Malamar whom I assumed were his former crew, they told him that the reconstruction of Temporal Tower was finished, and that Dialga was planning on opening the Hidden Land to the public, thinking of it being a better way to stop mons from sabotaging it...though I'm not sure how that works. Dusknoir seemed quite happy about the news, and they talked about something which I think was opening a shelter for wandering and homeless ghost and dark types.

As for our former guildmates, Florges, Loudred and Bidoof were the first to graduate. I might or might not have helped Bidoof a little since she was so nice to us, same goes for Florges. Marill and Azurill joined some time before I wrote this, telling the guildmaster that they also wanted to become apprentices and help others out.

For the other Legendaries, I haven't heard much of them. One day, Giratina told me through a mirror that Cresselia was grounded at Lunar Peak...not actually since she was levitating.

The Shaymins cleared out a path to let mons go to Sky Peak easily, as for other mythicals...I'm not sure if was I heard was true, but I've heard a rumor telling me that team Frontier found Jirachi and became friends with it.

Matt spent a lot of time in the sea, even though being a one-year-old, he proved that he was alright all by himself. He still loved to stay close to his "mother", but now he spent a lot of time on his own, he even told us that he wanted to join the guild someday.

There were also some news about Icy's parents. Recently, there was once Icy went back to visit her parents and realized that her mother's belly was a little bigger than usual. A few days later, Icy went to the pokecenter and came back, telling us that she had a younger brother, which her parent's named Bakey...wasn't hard to tell that their naming skills didn't improve...or got even worse...

I suppose that's all, oh yeah...Dialga hired Lapras back with some really high pay, even though she still accepted oversea tours from other mons. I've also heard that team Rayquazaistasty made some progress in their tunnel digging long term mission, also a Dhelmise team seemed to be working on the construction of a small harbor at the southern part of the island...which if I remembered correctly, was near Lake Afar.

That's the end of my first day writing my diary. If you're reading this, it must mean that you've broke into our house...but anyway, if you came this far, thanks for reading it I guess, see you probably a few years later? Maybe? Who knows? Bye!

(2007, Sinnoh, third POV)

"Boss...may I ask if you have time to discuss?" someone in a black and white suit asked through his phone.

"What would be important enough to call you during my lunch break? Spit it out" a voice yelled through the phone.

"You remember the kid Faba threw into the wormhole a few years ago?"

"Yes, I do...I thought we lost track of her, what about it?"

"I've picked up a signal of the kid's DNA...it seems a little messed up, but it's her for sure, and I think she even had a kid or whatever since I found another one which was weak but similar to hers"

"Interesting...so...where is she?"

"That's the weird thing, she seems to be in a different dimension...boss, capturing Palkia would be very hard...so would you allow me to borrow Cosmog from the Aether foundation...I know this won't be easy...but..."

"Contact the Aether foundation, get the Cosmog and capture the girl, we need further information about how she survived there, and what the other dimension is like...if you fail to capture her, get the other one back"

"Boss...what I want is to investigate...I don't want to-"

"Enough, capture that girl, get her back here. We'll dissect her if we need to, me will find a way to travel through space and time, the life of a child doesn't matter if we need to accomplish such a great purpose"
