Chapter 3 : The scream

(the next morning, Clover's POV)

I woke up earlier this morning, I had a relaxing sleep last night. I looked at Owen and realized that he was still sleeping and drooling all over his straw bed.

"Hey sleepyhead, get up now before you get drowned by your own drool" I padded up to him and said in his ear, and he jerked awake right away. "Thanks for waking me up instead of that stupid Loudred" he said. "Also your grass whistle sounded so good last night, I was out like a light" he added. I smiled at him, then both of us went to get changed.

After we got changed, we went to attend the morning brief, not much was different from yesterday. The only different thing compared to how it was yesterday was that we saw the guildmaster sleeping with his eyes open. We also got acquainted with a few other guild members, such as a Golduck, a Ludicolo and a Diglett.

A few moments later, the conversation ended and we went to do our stuff. "We got some poke' yesterday, why don't we go pay a visit to Kecleon supermarket?" Owen suggested. "Yeah, sounds like a nice plan!"

"Wow there are so many items here, I don't even know where to start" I exclaimed when I went in and looked at the items in the shop, "Let's just buy some orans and save up the rest for now" Owen suggested, "Sure!" I replied. After that we took a few orans and went to the counter to pay.

"I've never seen you here, you must be new" the Kecleon said to us. "We're team Fleaf and we just started our team" I told him. "Yeah and they are doing pretty well so far" a voice said from behind, "Hi there Florges, nice to see you here!" I greeted.

"Wow my best customer is here again" said the Kecleon, "Since you guys are new here, and you are also friends to my friend Florges, I think I'll give you these orans for free" said the Kecleon. "Thank you sir!" Owen said as his eyes sparkled with joy. "Oh yeah, and thanks for carrying me to the pokecenter yesterday, Florges!" Owen added. "No problem, I'm always glad that I can help, and say....I got something for you guys" Florges said to us with a smile and searched through her backpack, and took out two scarfs, one was orange with red stripes and one was light green with dark green stripes and gave them to us.

"Take these, and welcome to the guild!" she said. "Thanks ma'am, I really appreciate your gifts" Owen said with a wide smile. "I'm going on a mission so bye for now!" Florges said, waving goodbye to us and she left the supermarket.

"Which one do you want, Leaf?" Owen asked, "The green one" I said to him. then we both put on our scarfs and went on our way back to the guild, while we were on the path  I saw an Azurill walking beside a Marill, and the Azurill dropped an apple, so I padded up and gave it back to him.

"Thanks" he said, and he walked away. Suddenly I felt my body lose control for some reason, and I got very dizzy, "Hey you ok there?" I heard Owen ask, and my body went limp. I then felt my eyes roll back and everything went black.

I opened my eyes seeing a cliff with a lot of pointed stones as a scream rang out, along a small voice shouting "Help! Anymon help! Please help!" and then everything faded away.

I woke up because somemon was shaking me, it was Owen. "Are you alright? You just fainted for no reason" he asked with a concerned expression on his face. "I must have been too tired from yesterday" I replied as I got back up. "That sure felt weird" I thought to myself as we kept walking towards the guild.

I wasn't looking where I was going while thinking about what just happened, then I bumped into a Drowzee that had a earring on his left ear. "Sorry I wasn't looking" I apologized. "No problem" he said, he also seemed to be talking to the Marill brothers from earlier, after that we went back to the guild. "That Drowzee sure looked familiar" I thought to myself for a moment.
