Chapter 9 : Fogbound lake

(two days after chapter 7, Clover's POV)

"Goodbye Spark, goodbye Icy" I said to them as I left the guild, we were going on an expedition today, and Spark and Icy were staying behind with Armaldo, then something came to my mind.

"Guildmaster Wigglytuff, can I go and ask if somemon can come with us? I'll be back in a few minutes" I asked. "Yeah take your time, I gave you a map, and your team should go to Craggy coast later, we'll meet after other teams go through their separate dungeons...oh yeah and don't tell Chatot that I told you where to go, since you were supposed to figure it out by yourself" said the guildmaster, then he left with Chatot.

"So who are you going to invite Leaf?" asked Owen. "I think inviting Brick would be nice, Floof" I replied. "Yay, Mr.Brick is coming with us" exclaimed the excited Shinx.

We went to Spinda's cafe' and found Brick. "Hey Brick, we're going on an expedition today, you wanna come?" I asked. "I'm not sure if I want to do that Clover" he replied. "C'mon Brick, wasn't going on one of those part of your dream Brick?" asked Spinda. "Mr.Brick please come with us, it's going to be fun" said Blossom. "Ok, I'll pursue my dream I guess, thanks for inviting me guys" Brick replied, "Oh yeah one more thing, Blossom just call me Brick" he added, then we set off to Craggy coast.

"Wow the view here looks so nice" said Owen. "This sure brings back some memories" said Brick. "What's that rock over there daddy?" asked blossom. "Blossom, that's a Kangaskhan rock, you can use it to store items and take them out later" said Brick.

 "Let's go everyone!" Owen exclaimed, and he went into the dungeon, followed by Blossom and Brick. "Owen was so shy and timid before, and now I noticed that he's trying to be the leader, he's been trying so hard lately, and I'm glad he's doing this well" I thought to myself, and went in.

We went through the dungeon without a problem since not many mons were in this dungeon, and with Brick's help, we delt with water types much faster, and soon we got to another open space.

"Hey, there are two paths here, which way do we go?" asked Blossom. "Maybe Rock path? I think that's the right way" I suggested. "I'm pretty sure Mt.Horn is the right path, just...don't ask why I know about this" said Brick. "Ok Brick, let's go then" said Owen, and we proceeded to the next dungeon.

"Floof, it's your turn now" we went into the dungeon and there were plenty of grass types. "Sure, I'll take them out as fast as I can" said Owen. "I have a good way that can probably get us to the exit in a short time, but I'll only use it if you can't deal with them Owen" said Brick. I remained in the back, protecting Blossom from the mons and Owen went to clear out the mons in the front.

We got to the end of the dungeon soon, and when we got out, we saw Wigglytuff tents not far away. "Sorry guys, but I think I'll have to leave you on yourselves for a bit, I really don't...want to go to the guild...personal reasons please don't ask me why" Brick said. "Well goodbye then Brick, hope you find somewhere to rest and have a nice break" said Owen, and I realized that it was already evening, later we kept going and got to where the tents were, and we also saw a huge dent in the ground not far away from the guild.

"Hey, why does this place look so familiar?" I thought to myself. "Hey team Fleaf, how did you get here so fast? None of the other teams have got here yet" asked Chatot. "Um...Br-" Owen was going to say the name Brick out, so I nudged him to remind him about Brick not wanting himself to be mentioned. "Oh...we were just lucky with the dungeons I guess, we managed to guess the right path every single time" I said.

"Mr.Chatot, what happened to the the big hole over there?" asked Blossom, then she pointed at the huge dent next to our tents, and Chatot just let out a sigh.
