All Might's Daughter - Todoroki x Reader

9 - Theme Park (Part 2)

You and Todoroki look at each other with a panicked look, trying to analyze what is going on. The Ferris Wheel separates from its base and drops straight down, detaching the carts that were at the bottom of it. The weight imbalance from the missing carts starts making the Ferris Wheel start rolling away. 

"Todoroki! I'll stop it from moving and you get someone to help! Now go!" You yell at him over all the screaming and broken glass noise. 

"I can't let you do this by yourself!"

"You don't have your license! Please trust me!" You tell him as you jump out the window. 

You extend both your mist fists and hold onto the bars of the Ferris Wheel with all your strength. Although it may not be able to roll away too far, if it falls on its side it can kill the people inside of it. As you slowly try to let it down, you try to see what could have possibly caused this. Out of the corner of your eye, you see tons of people running away and screaming. Some of the food stands have caught on fire and it is quickly extending. 

"Is that a lizard with swords?!" You yell out with a confused look. 

After a lot of effort, you're able to gently put the Ferris Wheel down and take a quick glance at the people inside to make sure they're okay before heading towards where all the commotion was. You don't have time to help them all right now, your focus is on who started it in the first place. 

"I know that isn't who I think it is!" You hear behind you. 

You find one... no, many... of the same lizard you saw before. In between them, a guy covered head to toe with a black and gray bodysuit. Oddly enough, they don't seem to be too dangerous. Even though they seem to be involved with all the chaos surrounding you. 

"Isn't that the girl, Spinner? That was easier than I thought!" The guy in the black and gray suit continued, nudging one of the lizards on his side. 

"Of course, All Might's daughter would try to save the day," mocks one of the lizards. You frown, this is getting you mad. 

"You ruined my day out with my friends you jerks," you yell at them as you release your fists. You're not going to let the nightmares fight, you want to beat them up yourself. 

Your eyes scan all over the place to come up with the best possible plan for this situation. Although they don't seem that strong, there are five of them and only one of you. On top of that, it seems that they were looking for you, so you have to watch out for any dirty tricks they might try to pull. These seem to be clones just like Ectoplasm's, so they could possibly be killed off just like his.

Where is Todoroki, either way? He should have gotten help a while ago, and yet there's no sign of him. Whatever, you did tell him that you could handle this yourself and you're going to. 

You move towards them with your mist fists extended, as all the lizard clones jump onto you at the same time. You shield yourself with your fists and push them outward, sending them flying out. One of the clones seems to disintegrate and turn into a puddle of... something. A small smirk forms on your face, they work just as how you thought they would. 

The lizards jump back and head your way once again. Strangely, the bodysuit man is just standing there, on the phone. What is he doing? No time to think about that, as one of the lizards manages to land a blow on one of your legs, making you fall forward. He stands on top of you with his sword, as he was about to sink his sword into your back, something pulls him off of you. You quickly get up to see Yuto wrapping up the lizard with his vines to the point where only his face was visible. 

"Yuto!" You exclaim in both excitement and relief. "I thought I almost died... again."

"I'm going to have to have a chat with you later about that young lady," he says with a threatening tone.
