All Might's Daughter - Todoroki x Reader

3 - First Day of Class

So. Tired.

You have barely gotten any sleep during the weekend as you've been packing to move to the UA dorm. Fortunately, you had the help of Miwa and Yuto. Unfortunately, they did not shut up one second the whole time because they wanted to know about the whole deal with your dad. They also complained about you leaving them, saying that you won't talk to them anymore, that you will like your hero friends more than them, and more paranoid ideas.

"Speed up, Y/n. Homeroom already started," said your dad while dragging you to class.

Today is your first day of class at UA and you couldn't be more nervous. To top it off, you slept through your alarm because you were sleep-deprived from packing. However, you're putting on the biggest smile you can for your dad. He has been really stressed while dealing with, well, all of this so you wanted to make it at least a little better for him.

"It'll be alright. You said the kids are all nice, right?" You mention with a smile while looking at him.

He sighs and, too, returns the smile. You keep walking down the corridor until your dad stops at one of the doors. You look up and see the really big "1-A" sign on the door. Now that was really intimidating. Your dad knocked on the door and peaked to talk to Mr. Aizawa. He sticks his head back out as he opens the door more and pushes you inside.

"Good luck," he whispers before leaving.

You feel as though a spotlight has been put on you as you see each and every pair of eyes in that room look at you.

"This will be your new classmate. She's in here under specific circumstances. Present yourself," Aizawa uttered.

You took a quick breath and stepped forward, scanning the faces of the people in front of you. You only wished you could know what they were thinking at that moment, but all the mind-reading you can do is to learn about their fears.

"Hello! My name is L/n Y/n. My quirk is... um, nightmare. I am really excited to meet everyone!"

Everyone was so quiet for a solid three seconds that you could be able to hear a pin drop. Until the room exploded with questions coming from all over the place.

"Can you tell me more about your quirk?"

"What school did you come from?"

"Can I get your number?"

"Can you turn around for a second I'm trying to see- ouch!"

"Stop being a pervert!"

"Wait aren't you the daughter of-"

"Silence. L/n you may sit wherever I don't care. I'm going back to sleep," Aizawa concluded before burying himself back into his sleeping bag.

You look over at the empty seats in the back and spot someone familiar: Todoroki. There's an empty spot behind him. Maybe you could take this opportunity to apologize to him for what happened back at the entrance exam. So at least you can explain that you didn't have malicious intentions. You walk confidently straight to that seat. He doesn't look at you, and, instead, focuses his attention on another student.

"Sero, switch with me," demanded Todoroki, standing up from his seat.

Sero turned back around, with a confused look on his face. Your expression wasn't far from his as you sat down at your desk. This is definitely not how you expected this to go. Todoroki reached Sero's seat and kind of nudged him out of it.
