He tasted like cranberries and vodka.

With our arms wrapped around each other and our lips locked together in a bout of heated passion, I could only think about one thing: I didn't want it to end. At first I was hesitant, as I had no experience in the kissing department. So I let Damian take control.

And my word, he was amazing

The kiss started off as slow, tender. Then it gradually started to get more heated, more intimate. Damian's tongue grazed my teeth and I instinctively opened my mouth, allowing it to delve inside. Moving my hands from the back of his neck, I began running my fingers through his soft, curly hair.

"Right now I'm having second thoughts of sending you shopping," he murmured as he pushed me up against the closet door and resumed kissing me.
"I..I have to go shopping for new clothes, you said so yourself," I said breathlessly.

He shook his head and leaned his head down to nuzzle my neck.
"My Goddess you smell amazing. Apples and cinnamon is officially my most favourite scent in the world."
I giggled and kissed him again, this time on his cheek. "I have to go now. I don't want to keep the girls waiting."

"Before you go, take my card," he said as he took a black card out of his pocket and handed it to me. "Put whatever you want on it. You don't have to worry about the cost. If you want it, buy it."
"Thank you Damian, this is very nice of you," I accepted the card and carefully slipped it in my wallet.

"Karina are you almost done? We're ready to leave," Bethany called from outside.

"I have to go. See you when I get back," I smiled at my mate and was about to leave when he pulled me back.
"Don't let anyone touch you, if you feel unsafe anywhere, stick with Bethany and the girls. And if any bastard tries to make a move on you, call me," he warned.
"Okay, don't worry, I'll be careful," I promised.

He didn't seem too convinced, but let me go after saving his number in my phone. I thought it was sweet that he cared so much for me. After all I was his mate, and we wolves were very protective of what was ours. Placing his hand on the small of my back, Damian escorted me downstairs. Outside, a black limousine was waiting and Bethany, Zaelynn and Anya were already in the back. Damian opened the door for me and I got in.
"Have fun sweetheart, and please be careful."

"Don't worry, I'll be careful. See you in a few hours," I smiled at him and ran a finger across his sharp jawline. With a chuckle he bent down and kissed me on my forehead before closing the door. The driver turned the key in the ignition and drove away from the mansion.

"I wish he could've come with us, I don't like to be away from our mate," Keira whined.

"Keira, Damian has work to do. As Alpha, he has duties and responsibilities to fullfil and he needs time to do it," I said soothingly. "And besides, we'll see him when we get back."

"I know, but still, I feel so sad when he's not close to us."

"I know. But don't worry, when we get back home, we'll spend some more time with him. I promise."

"First we'll head to Rubellite Mall to buy new clothes, cosmetics and accessories," Anya's excited voice broke me out of my thoughts. I turned to look at her and saw that she had taken out her phone and was dialing some number.
"Did Damian give you his black card Karina?" Bethany asked.
"He did. It's right here in my bag," I replied.
"Excellent. When you get to Rubellite Mall, don't be stingy. Buy whatever you want; the most expensive, most fashionable item."

I laughed nervously. Some she wolves may be perfectly fine when shopping with their mate's credit card and draining his funds, but not me. Damian gave me his black card with the instructions to buy whatever I wanted, but that didn't mean I'd milk him for everything he had. I wasn't greedy, nor was I a golddigger.
