Chapter 3: This Is Getting Nowhere

This is where chapters start getting shorter I believe

Atsushi and Dazai are trying to fend off the pm from behind their office desks, constantly being shot at by the miniature Machine guns held by each of the Black Lizard's specially trained agents. From behind the desk Dazai hears a voice not common for the Black Lizard, but common for him.

"Okay, that's enough with gunfire. This is getting nowhere". The voice sounded slightly ruffer but otherwise the same that he had heard it only nights before. He turned his head to look around the side of the desk to see that Hirotsu had been looking out from the door and at someone past the vision of the desk he had been behind. He pulled Atsushi over to slightly observe and listen to the conversation happening beyond the gunfire. The gun fire stops at the continuation of the unknown man talking.

"Boss says that we need them for questioning. Take them alive.", silence fills the room for a moment.

"Of course", Hirotsu faces back to his men. "Seize gun fire for now, we will be taking them back alive."

Atsushi, hearing their plan to take him and Dazai in for questioning, panics and throws himself to the shot-filled wall behind them to try and think of what they'd need both of them for. Out of nowhere a loud bang and blinding flash fills the room, he and Dazai's eyes slam shut to the light, the moment they've realized what happened the shoulder of a gun is slammed over top their heads, leaving Atsushi unconscious and Dazai senseless enough to be unable to move but conscious enough to get a moment of glimpse at who was walking above them.
