Is it really my fault?

Parker's POV:

I kept my footsteps light, trying to avoid the majority of the dry leaves and the fallen branches scattered around the forest floor. I "escaped" 6 days ago after a fight with Matt and I have been in wolf form sense. I am still in Ryan's territory since he had clearly upped the patrols so I couldn't escape. Probably worried I would take off and try to find Connor to prove Matt wrong.

Flashback to 6 days ago:

"Parker, you're with me again. It's time for your next eval. You are going to have them every week until you decide to stop going for a fighter position or you pass." Matt called out to me.

I rolled my eyes and headed for the fighting circle. Ryan and I had been working on me ignoring his movements and I have made very little progress. In fact I've almost gotten worse. The second his scent is caught by me, it's all I can focus on, the dominance that was radiating off of him after my coma had diminished slightly but it seemed like I was the only one who was affected by it. Every slight movement he makes captures my attention like he's the only person in the room. It's frustrating. The harder I try the worse it is.

We both got into position as everyone on the training fields gathered around. Carla, Ryan, and Carter would be doing the eval. All I had to do was ignore Ryan and win. Carter started the fight. Matt and I were even until Ryan purposely stepped into view and turned sideways. My eyes locked onto his figure and I took a hard shot to my right temple. I crumbled like a sack of potatoes. I grimaced in pain and tapped the ground twice as my ear rang and my head swam.

"You need to fucking figure it out, Parker. I will give you three more tries. If you can't pass, you're out. I don't like hurting my Luna. Also keep in mind that Connor could attack at any time. Don't be a little bitch and hide while he takes out your pack due to whatever grudge he has against you." he whispered to me, kneeling next to me.

My eyes snapped open as a very pissed off growl ripped through my chest. I launched myself at him and just started swinging. Landing punches left and right as he barely managed to shield his head. I screamed obscenities at him. I was yanked off him and Ryan let out an angry growl.

"That's enough. Both of you." He snapped.

I tore myself away from him and took off. Exploding out of my clothes as the shift took over. I ignored everyone and just angrily took off. Fuck all of them. I didn't need them to tell me I could fight. Nor did I need to wait for Connor to come for me. I'll find him and I'll end him.

End Flashback:

I froze as I heard a click under my right paw. I looked down and couldn't see anything so I tried to lean down and use my snout to brush away the leaves. I immediately regretted it as the bear trap was triggered and clamped shut around my right front paw. I howled in pain and tried to get away, probably doing more damage than good. I tried to shift and found I couldn't, only causing blood to rush out even faster. I howled again and tried to pry it open with my teeth, being unable to do so. I collapsed, hyperventilating in panic, whines left my mouth uncontrollably.

"Almost there. Relax." Ryan's voice rang through our link.

I was in too much pain to respond. Minutes later Ryan, Carter, and some warriors showed up, meaning Ryan's been keeping a close eye on me. He quickly shifted and rushed to my side.

"Carter, this is a hunter's trap. Someone better have a good fucking explination for why they were able to cross into my territory." He glowered.

He brought his attention back to me. "Shh. Shh. I'm gonna get you out, as soon as you're out, you need to shift for me. Okay?"
