Parker's POV:

Once we got to the pack house I was nudged by Chris towards the stairs. With a wink and a "Don't fight it." he had walked away with everyone else and I slowly made my way up the stairs. My heart was beating really fast as I approached our room here. I didn't want to have this change our whole relationship and I doubt Ryan would intentionally do anything to change it but me unknowingly accepting him the way I did might have forced a change in our relationship.

I took a deep breath and opened the door. I kept my eyes down so I could get in and shut the door without anything happening. Once the door was latched I turned my head and glanced around the room. Ryan wasn't over by the couch like I thought he was going to be so I took a second to calm myself and slowly turned to the bed. A whine left me and I dropped like a sack of potatoes to my knees the second my eyes connected with his.

"It's okay. It's okay. Let it happen. I'm right here." He rushed over to me and reached down cupping the back of my neck and squeezing firmly.

I clenched my jaw and was super tense as my mind raced. A noise of uncomfortableness left me and Ryan squeezed my neck a little more. He crouched down so we could make eye contact.

"Don't fight it. Take a deep breath and close your eyes, let it happen."

I took a deep breath with him before my eyes slipped shut. My entire body relaxed, my chin dropped to my chest and my hands rested on my spread thighs.

"There you go. Take the time you need."

My breathing slowed and I felt relaxed but not enough that I could stand up and move on yet. I don't know how long we stayed there before I felt like I had snapped back into reality. I opened my eyes and slowly lifted my head.

"Okay?"

I nodded. Ryan slowly helped me to my feet.

"So... He's not really a rogue. I've contacted his pack. He was... kidnapped. I'm not sure exactly what he went through as he said he was taken from the Moon stone pack. And his name is Thomas. We had to lock him in one of the offices downstairs because he wouldn't stop trying to attack. He doesn't know that he's 5,000 miles from his home."

I was kind of surprised he just ignored everything that just happened but I nodded. "So I should talk to him... because he might have gone through what I did?"

"If you want to bring that up it might help him open up but, I think you were right about the whole Luna thing. Luna's bring people a sense of comfort, that alone might be enough to get him to relax until his family can get here."

"Okay. Well, whatever I can do to help."

"I think just telling him who you are might help."

"Right... Because every pack knows I was held captive for two years so he might talk."

"Yeah... Unfortunately. You don't have to tell him anything you don't want to. No one else really knows what happened to you during that time. Just that you were taken and held and somehow escaped and were found by your pack on the brink of death is known."

"Okay... have you tried to offer him food?"

"I tried and he freaked out."

"Okay." I nodded and gently pulled away from him heading for the door.

Ryan followed behind me quietly as we went down the stairs. I bypassed the hall to the offices on the first floor and headed for the kitchen. Once in the kitchen Ryan leaned against the island watching me as I made two plates of food. Just some sandwiches with turkey and cheese, lettuce and tomato, and grabbed some unopened bags of chips and water. I grabbed everything and nodded to Ryan and he stood leading me towards the office where he was keeping Thomas. Carter and Matt stood outside the door and opened it, leading the way inside as we approached.
