"Miss Larkin, what exactly is this tape?"
"Do you like it?"
"If I like it? Fuck, yea.
I actually didn't think you would recover this soon,
I am very surprised.""Well, thank you for your trust, Duke."
"Oh, come on. You know what I meant.
Anyway, come to the studio when you can.
Butch and I will try to arrange something
with the voices we have on the tape. "Several days had passed since the trip to Virginia and Diane had returned to Los Angeles accompanied by Taylor. It can be said that she was able to manage herself independently: the medicines in the morning, noon and evening which were going to decrease more and more, the body that regained strength with the passing of the days and the desire to go forward stronger and stronger. In fact, thanks to the last one, she decided to record some tracks in Dave's studio before returning home, tracks that she put on a tape and sent to Friday Harbor, Washington, where the group was finishing recording Version 2.0. Taylor couldn't help but watch more and more satisfied as she showed her improvements and the gratitude she expressed to him was priceless, it made him feel really good. Finally both of them were really clean and could easily live their relationship. Noticing the changes, improvements, in Diane's personality that she was seriously working on, could only make him even more happy. Speaking of expressing her gratitude, Taylor knew very well how much she tried to improve her love language, it had never been her strong point to express feelings in words except in her songs, and that made him even more proud. "You know..." He said to her one night as they sat in Diane's living room, he on the couch and she on the floor, between his legs, while on MTV they ran a ranking of the best video clips of the 80s. "You really did some huge steps forward, Cherry... I'm very proud of you. " She lifted her head from her book, Love is a dog from hell by C.Bukowski, not fully turning to him, letting a shy smile form on her lips. On TV No One Like You by the Scorpions started playing and the smile of the redhead widened further, it was one of her favorite songs from the German group. "Do you really think that?" She asked, looking back at the book, making a little ear at the page she was reading before closing it. Taylor nodded and whispered a faint "Yes." Bringing his hands through her hair and pulling her red locks to form a low ponytail. She began humming and intoning the song following the words of Klaus Meine, under the relaxed gaze of the drummer who pulled her hair in front of her left shoulder to uncover her neck. "Girl, there are really no words strong enough to describe all my longing for love." He whispered bringing his lips to her uncovered skin and a hand on her book to remove it from the hands of the redhead who let him do that, smiling smugly as she kept her gaze fixed on the TV. "I don't want my feelings restrained." She sang along the words of the blond and the singer on TV, turning slowly towards the boy and, putting her hands on his shirt, she welcomed him into her mouth almost urgently, caressing his tongue gently with her own. "Don't tempt me Hawkins, I have a suitcase to pack." She then announced when she pulled away from his lips, causing the drummer to moan which he couldn't help himself with. "Exactly... who knows when I'll see you again." The singer chuckled in amusement, getting on her knees before standing up in front of the blond who tried to block her with his own legs. "Taylor!" Diane wobbled on herself, risking losing her balance due to the drummer who laughed at her as she turned, opening her arms towards him who grabbed her hands, squeezing 'em in his own. "You're like a horny teenager..." She laughed before letting out a scream when, jumping up, the blond grabbed her on his shoulder before patting her ass as he started walking towards the girl's room. "I'll let you pack in peace, but you owe me a favor." Diane laughed even harder than she did when she felt the boy's hand on her ankles, trying to lock her legs to keep them both from falling. "Wait and hope for it!"
