Taylor would have liked to take his trolley and throw it in front of him, he wanted to scream and throw up all the thoughts and words that until that moment he had been holding on to himself. He didn't seem to understand how in the eyes of others everything seemed normal while he was always a fire inside, blinded by jealousy and anger. How others don't understand it? He seemed to go crazy. "Come on Taylor, you're just exaggerating." Dave kept telling him whenever the drummer seemed to be on the verge of a nervous breakdown. "You have nothing to worry about, Navarro is a nice guy, Diane would never do anything like that to you. What are you worried about?" It wasn't really clear even to him what bothered him so much, but just knowing that the two were together who knows how many miles apart was enough to make him nervous. "Surprise her, you know she'd like it. Europe has always helped your relationship, you know." And he did it. He booked a plane ticket to Brussels to be able to reach the Garbage at Rock Werchter, all without notifying Diane or the crew members; in any case, even if he had warned them nothing would have changed in his opinion.

"Am I interrupting something?" Taylor took his glasses over his head, scanning the room thoroughly before focusing on the two who were placed in front of him: sitting on the ground, with their legs crossed, there were Diane and Dave who seemed to laugh for a good half hour given the their breathlessness and the huge smiles printed on their faces. Love Gun by KISS was the background to that scene that irritated the blonde like few things in life. As soon as the singer saw him appear in front of the open door of her room, she wasted no time and got back on her feet without stopping smiling. "Taylor, what are you doing here?" The drummer remained with his shoulders bent forward, almost impassive when the redhead wrapped her arms around his neck, except for his right arm that squeezed her, placing his hand lightly on her back. "I hoped for your surprise until the end." She whispered before kissing him on his lips that he barely returned, but Diane didn't pay him much attention. "Hey man, here, just in time." Dave draws his words from the joint he is holding between his lips as he gets to his feet, walking over to the two of them before handing him the weed. "I'm so glad you're here." Diane announced alternating words with a trail of kisses that continued to leave on the face of the blond.

"How was your trip?"

"Have you eaten?"

"We can go get
something at the bar. "

"Let's call room service!"

"OK stop." The blond stopped the two who, looking at the slightly annoyed expression on his face, burst out laughing. "Is there any coke in there?" He asks because of their hyperactivity, getting a "no" as a response from Dave before he crosses his arms over his chest, after the drummer grabs the joint in his fingers. "I'd never do that, Taylor. Or at least, not with her." - "Good to know."

"Babe, what's on your mind?" Dave, now some time ago, didn't take long to leave the redhead's room and close the door behind him, leaving the two free to talk, it seemed they both needed it. At that point Diane was sitting on the drummer's lap who seemed to ignore her gaze, just caressing her legs automatically, as if he were in a trance. "Taylor?" - "I don't know if I can go on like this for long." The redhead furrowed her brows, pulling a lock of hair behind her ear. She had untied her typical high ponytail for the blond, she knew how much he liked her loose hair, especially at that moment when it had reached a considerable length. "What do you mean?" Taylor finally rested his eyes on her girlfriend's brown eyes as he tightens his grip on her legs. His expression seemed concerned, but never as worried as the one of the singer. "I've tried, Cherry. I've tried to make everything fit, but I can't." Diane continued to watch him not understanding where he wanted to go, listening to his words as if she had just fallen from a cloud. But then she thought about Claudia's words, about her point of view and what she thought of the relationship that had developed in the last period between her and Dave, how it all seemed very "inappropriate". Everything was clearer. "Are you talking about Dave?" The drummer nodded, fearing the worst reaction from the singer who just gave him a half smile before looking down. Taylor sighed loudly, tracing the girl's hips with his large hands until he brought them to her face. "Cherry?" She looked up, pursing her lips slightly before starting to bite them from the inside. "I was very selfish, wasn't I?" - "No, Diane, listen-" The redhead shook her head, putting a finger onto his mouth without taking that bitter smile off her lips.
