Once Helen leaves it is just after 10:30AM, so Kara knows that she and Lori still have a lot of time to do everything they have planned to do today. However, Kara also can tell that her foster daughter is still a bit stressed out from her moment of thinking that Helen was going to take her away. Even after Kara told Lori that she was never going to let anyone take her away, throughout the entire time that Helen was talking with them, Kara cold tell that the 7-year-old was still tense.

"Lori, come here." Kara says, opening up her arms.

Lori slowly walks over to Kara, biting her lip slightly, and eventually allows herself to be taken in for a hug by the blonde.

"It's all okay now, pretty girl. Like I said earlier, I'm not letting anyone take you from me. Okay?" Kara says, in a soft reassuring voice.

"Yes... okay...." Lori replies, still while hugging Kara tightly.

After that, Kara and Lori continue to hug for the next few minutes, just taking in the moment, with Kara allowing Lori to feel more at ease and everything. Eventually, though, the duo part from their hug.

"Alright, then." Kara smiles, "So, we both need to get washed and dressed and everything, and then we can start our day together."

"Okay." Lori nods, with a smile growing on her face now.

Over the next 30 minutes Kara and Lori take their own separate shows, and then get dressed. Once the two are finished, they both walk into Lori's room, to have a look around.

"Alright, so seeing as we are going to be decorating your room today. Firstly, before we go out and buy all the stuff to decorate it, we need to know how you want your room to look. Like, for instance, what colour would you like to paint your walls?" Kara asks.

After Kara says that, Lori looks around her bedroom for a few moments, with a thoughtful look on her face.

"Pink!" Lori eventually says, with a big smile.

Kara chuckles, finding it amusing that Lori chooses a colour typically associated with females.

"Okay." Kara nods, "And what about everything else? How else do you want the room to look?"

Lori now bites her lip, growing an unsure look on her face.

"I don't know." Lori replies.

"That's okay." Kara nods, "How about I search a bunch of different kid's bedroom examples on my phone, and you can have a look at them, and tell me what you like, and what you don't like?"

"Yes, okay." Lori nods, happily.

Kara and Lori then spend the next 30 minutes happily sitting on one of the couches in their living room, looking at Kara's phone at all the different bedroom examples, with Lori giving Kara some feedback as to the things she likes and doesn't like.

"Alright." Kara eventually says, with a smile, "I think we have a good idea of what you want your bedroom to look like now. I think I know where we can get most of that stuff."

"Okay." Lori smiles, happily, with such a wide smile.

Kara stands up from the couch, thinking that the two of them should leave to go buy everything now, and as she does, Lori's stomach grumbles.

"Are you hungry?" Kara chuckles.

"Yeah." Lori nods, cutely.

"Well, how about we go out, and before we start our shopping, we go into Big Belly Burger for lunch?" Kara suggests.

"YES!!" Lori says, excitedly.

Kara chuckles again.

"Alright. Go get your coat from your room, and then we'll go." Kara says.
