It is now a few hours later, and Lori, Eliza and Kara have just finished off painting the second coat of Lori's bedroom. Now the only thing that they have left to do, is take off the tape, and then carefully paint the edges of the wall that the paint covered. However, Eliza is confident that she will be able to do that on her own, probably sometime tomorrow morning, before everyone else gets to Kara's for their roast dinner.

"Well, I think I am confident in saying that we did an excellent job." Kara smiles, as soon as they finish their painting.

"I think you'll find that Lori and I did most of the work." Eliza says.

Lori giggles in response to that, having clearly been taken by Eliza.

"Well..... what do you think of your room Lori?" Kara asks, "Do you still like the color......"

"Yes." Lori says, nodding her head happily, "I've never been able to decorate my own room before. I love it!"

"I'm glad." Kara smiles, lovingly.

"But.... I'll still have to sleep with you tonight, right?" Lori asks, "Because the paint isn't dry yet?"

"Yeah, if that's still okay with you." Kara replies.

"Yes, it is." Lori says, nodding her head eagerly, with a big smile on her face.

Eliza, for her part, watches on as Kara and Lori interact, and she can truly see just how much Lori loves Kara, even if she hasn't told Kara she loves her in those words yet. Eliza just knows how much of a big deal it is that Lori feels so comfortable with Kara, and is happy, and also excited, about sleeping with her.

"Well, I think it's safe to say that we all, mostly me and Lori, did a job well done today." Eliza says.

Lori giggles again at Eliza saying that.

"And as a reward, I think we should have a nice dinner. What do you say, Lori?" Eliza asks.

"Yes." Lori nods, with a big smile.

"What do you think, Kara?" Eliza asks.

"Uhhh.... oh shoot." Kara says, now realising something, "I just realised that I actually haven't bought the food for our roast dinner tomorrow yet, nor do I have anything for dinner tonight, and I don't want us to get take-out because Lori and I had Big Belly Burger for lunch yesterday."

"Oh, well, why don't the three of us go on a little trip to the store to get everything we need for dinner tonight, as well as whatever we need for our roast dinner tomorrow?" Eliza suggests.

"That sounds like a great idea, Eliza." Kara smiles.

After this, over the next few minutes, Kara helps Lori change into some new clothes, while also wiping off some of the paint from the 7-year-old's face and hands. Then, once Kara has got Lori dressed, she sends the girl out into the living room to talk with Eliza while she gets dressed herself. However, just as Kara is getting dressed, she gets a call from J'onn.

"Hello?" Kara answers.

"Kara, we need Supergirl's help. There's someone in the west side of National City terrorising some local businesses, and they are using what looks to be an alien weapon. Several police officers have already tried to apprehend the person, but have gotten hurt in the process. Nia is making her way to the scene now, but she could use your help." J'onn says.

After Kara hears J'onn say that, she freezes for a moment. Usually Kara would jump right into action, and go and save the day as Supergirl, however, things have changed for Kara over this last week, because she has a foster daughter to think of now.
