I can't do this Jenna. This is too difficult" you whined to your best friend.

"Keep trying Y/Nie. You'll get it" she encouraged you to try your hardest. You literally slumped down on the floor, sweat dripping down your body and the music from the speaker slowing down gradually indicating the song was ending.

"You're marrying one of the best dancers of our country Y/N. Do you want to embarrass yourself in front of him and everyone?" Henna walked towards you and sat down next to you on the floor. Your breath was uneven with the constant practice you've been doing for the past 3 hours but to no avail you were nowhere near decent.

"Why did I have to have a rehearsal dinner before my wedding and why do I have to dance? I suck at dancing" you sniffled, hiding your face behind your towel. Jenna clutched the cloth from your hand and made you sit up.

"Why don't you ask him to teach you some basic moves? With the speed you've been practising, I'm sure you'd fall face first in front of all his friends and your families" Jenna said.

So, the scene was that you were going to get married to Park Jimin, the biggest dancer of the country. He was the younger son of the Park family and your friend from school. Your families arranged the wedding when you both graduated college and none of you opposed the idea. Your families were really happy with the decision and were preparing a lot for the wedding. You were only incharge of the couple's dance you'd have to perform after the ceremony.

Jimin was excellent at dancing but you were nowhere near being one. You were as good at dancing as a monkey. You've been practising some basic moves for the last 2 weeks with your best friend accompanying you but every time you'd either fall down or skip a step to mess up the entire routine.

Now after finally giving up, Jenna suggested you take Jimin's help in dancing. He could teach you some moves that would provide you the courage to at least stand in front of the big families. It was reasonable for you to ask him but you had one problem, you couldn't form words in front of him.

It's not like you were always head over heels for him. He was your dorky friend with godly looks. Never did the thought of marrying him in the near future crossed your mind and when your father suggested you'd have to stop your heart from exploding at the news. It was all so new to you and you had no feeling for him but gradually, looking at him past the best friend image, you started picturing yourself with him. Living with him, sharing meals, a house, a room and a bed.

Thinking how it all will be so different after marriage made you giddy and before you knew it, his presence started affecting you. In a good way of course. He's on your mind most of the time for all the obvious reasons and when you're together for something, your heart would beat at the speed of light.

So now thinking about asking him to teach you how to dance you were beyond perplexed. Not because you didn't trust him, but because you didn't trust yourself. So with another 100 pushes from your best friend, you finally texted him to ask the favour.

"What did he say?" Jenna asked, way more pumped than you.

"He said he'd See Me tomorrow at his house" you informed but got lost in your thoughts again.

"What? Don't just space out on me. Tell me what's bothering you?" Jenna shook you out of your dreamland once you went quiet for a while and asked.

"You know how I feel about him right? How am I supposed to behave in front of him when I barely can look him in the eyes?" You were concerned and to be honest, it was genuine. You've never been alone with him and feeling what you're feeling for him. It was difficult for you to stop your heart from jumping out of your chest around him and now when he'll be teaching you dance, you're sure you'd embarrass the hell out of yourself.
