At the research facility
Author’s POV
“Aish Mia, this is the 7th letter I’ve received in the last 2 months telling me how special I am and how much this guy loves me” Y/N said irritated at yet another letter, falling down from her locker.
“Do you have any idea who this secret admirer is?” asked Yoongi, who has just arrived to work on his project. He started putting his things in his locker.
“No Yoongi, I have no idea who this is, that’s why I’m so furious about finding this guy. I need answers” she said answering his questions.
“He seems cute and nice to me” Mia said shrugging her shoulder.
You shot a deathly glare towards her and scoffed “Do you even know this guy? How can you say that he is cute? For all I know, he could be a 40 year old lunatic, depressed over his wife leaving him for her driver” you were at the verge of self explosion.
“Orr he can be a young boy who is well settled and saw a potential partner in you for future coitus possibilities” Mia said sipping on the coffee in her hands.
“Uhmm.. Maybe the guys isn't as bad as you think and not as straight forward as Mia explains” Said Yoongi, Clearing his throat and adjusting his lab coat.
“Whatever, I’m not going to entertain this person anymore. He need to come out of the dark and face me if he wants to be with me so bad” Y/N said and made her way to the lab, after waving goodbye to Mia and Namjoon.
Currently you and your friend along with namjoon and his friend Yoongi, were working on a top secret government operation in the National Space Station.
You were a young scientist, who has a masters degree in physics and is currently completing her PhD in the same. You were working on a model Telescope that will most probably help you and your organization to witness the upcoming Meteor Shower.
You were very excited because in this project you were teamed up with the best people around the facility, first one being Min Yoongi, a genius physicist who is quiet most of the time but is very funny once you get under his skin. He is a good company to be around, not to mention HOT af.
Other one being, Kim Namjoon, he is a master at what he does and is a very skilled experimental physicist. He is also fun to be around but because you have a huge crush on him from your college days, you feel like cat got your tongue and you usually zone out every time you are in front of him.
So, for the past 2 months you have been receiving some letters, more precisely love letters. Every Saturday you get a letter and it usually consist of some poetic rhymes about how beautiful you are and your other minor details, along with a cupcake, weird.
You pretend to be irritated around Mia and others but secretly, you love how he describes you, in a way that no one has ever done before and you have started to love yourself more than you usually did. At the end of every letter, there would be a line ‘love yourself’ It was yet another Saturday and when you went inside the building of your workplace, you secretly hoped to get a letter from the mysterious secret admirer of yours.
And you did, and you were smiling widely.
You opened the letter and read the content and a smile crept on your face.
Earlier today
Namjoon’s POV
“One usual with a cupcake to go please” I ordered my coffee and sat on the table near the counter, waiting for it. I visit this café every Saturday and order my usual black coffee.
