Vale Showdown

Y/N POV

Roman lowers his cane smiling.

Y/N: "What're you doing here?"

Roman: "Just chillin. What about you?"

Y/N: "Here to find some criminals. And here one is."

Roman: "Very funny. So what're you gonna do?"

Y/N: "Probably nothin. I'd never rat out a friend."

Roman: "Aww, you really do care about someone other than yourself."

Y/N: "Shut up."

My scroll begins ringing.

Y/N: "What?"

Ruby: "Y/N! We need your help! A train's making its way to Vale! And there's a storm of Grimm chasing after us!"

I hang up looking at Roman.

Roman: "Wasn't me."

I take off running in the location of Ruby's scroll. Going about a hundred yards I see a massive hole. I jump down it running down a train tunnel. I quickly stop feeling the ground rumble.

Y/N: "What the hell?"

I look back and groan in annoyance.

Y/N: "This' gonna hurt."

I close my eyes as a sea of Grimm wash over me. I feel hundreds of claws go over me tearing everything up. The killing blow comes in the form of a hoof crushing my head.

Ruby POV

I transform Crescent Rose taking out the airborne Grimm.

Ruby: "These things are relentless!"

Blake: "No kidding."

She fires her gun taking down a charging Creep.

Blake: "No matter how many we take down more just seem to show up."

Yang: "At this rate exhaustion will kill us before the Grimm can."

Weiss: "We really need a hail mary."

A roar echoes out sending a chill down our spine. The ground then slightly rumbles. The rumbles become more frequent until the source makes itself known. Our hearts sink seeing the source of the rumbles. Before of us is a dreaded Nuckelavee Commander.

Its height is twice that of a regular Nuckelavee. There's bone plating covering both the rider and the horse. The bone is so thick it can easily deflect most bullets. For arms the rider has a bone shield that's the same height as the entire creature. On the other arm is a large mallet.

Weiss: "Now we're doomed."

Yang: "Oum help us."

The Nuckelavee Commander kicks up the ground when we hear a shout.

Voice: "Hey, you big dumb Grimm!!!"

We turn seeing a sight for sore eyes. Emerging from the train hole is a very angry Y/N. His clothes are completely shredded mostly exposing his chest. Several areas of his body have a decent amount of blood leaking from them. Finally his left eye is shut with blood drenching that area.

Y/N: "Listen here. I can take a lot of shit. Toss me off a building or shoot me in the head I don't care. But you so much as think about trampling me with Grimm, then there's a fucking problem. Prepare to die."

The Nuckelavee Commander roars running towards him. Y/N bursts into smoke disappearing. He soon reappears slamming his daggers into the gaps of the Nuckelavee Commander's bone armor. It screeches trying to buck him off.

Yang: "He's suicidal."

Weiss: "Let's back him up."

Ruby: "No."

They all look at me.

Blake: "Why?"

Ruby: "Look at the way he's fighting."

They do.

Yang: "What about it?"

Ruby: "His moves are eratic but controlled. It's like he's trying to speak. Going off my gut I say he's letting out the emotions he keeps bottled up."

We continue to watch Y/N fight.

Y/N POV

I scream in anger slicing the Nuckelavee Commander's neck. It hollers swatting me away with its mallet. I slam into a store window hitting the back of the store. I walk out as the Nuckelavee Commander snarls in a mocking manner.

Y/N: "Damn horse."

I switch semblances feeling my body get stronger. I leap cratering the ground. I bring down my daggers colliding with the Nuckelavee Commander's shield. I grit my teeth as the Nuckelavee Commander roars. 

Y/N: "Just fucking die!!!"

I push the current semblance further. My daggers creak as the bone shield starts to splinter. I keep going until my daggers give out snapping in half. I toss them away as the Nuckelavee Commander swings its mace at me. I use my arms to take the blow. Two loud cracks are heard as I'm sent skidding across the ground. 

Y/N: "Fuck that hurt."

I groan getting to my feet. When I am my arms hang limply. I activate my heal ability but it isn't as fast. The Nuckelavee Commander roars charging towards me. I cease my ability as the Nuckelavee Commander uses its shield as a battering ram. I clench my teeth reeling my head back. The Nuckelavee Commander roars getting within inches of me. I swing my head.

It collides with the shield letting out a a heavy crunch. The shield cracks before completely shattering to pieces. Meanwhile a loud ringing hits my ears as pain consumes my head. I watch but can't hear the Nuckelavee Commander screaming. The only thing I hear is a high pitched ringing.

Y/N: "Just die already."

I lean down picking up a piece of my broken dagger. Then putting it in my mouth I arrange it so the blade is sticking straight out. Time to end this. Once more pushing the boost semblance I run at the Nuckelavee Commander. I leap coming down on its face. 

My dagger comes down embedding deep int the rider's skull. It wobbles from side to side then falls over dead. I roll onto my back finally deactivating the semblance. My eyes grow heavy with the last thing I see is RWBY running towards me.
