Forced Deal

Y/N POV

My eyes burst open as my senses come back. I groan feeling a splitting headache coming on. 

Suit: "Glad to see you back in the land of the living."

I look forward to see sir suit sitting at a desk.

Y/N: "Where am I?"

Suit: "You're at my academy known as Beacon."

Y/N: "And who're you?"

Ozpin: "You may call me Ozpin."

Y/N: "Well can't say this was pleasing but this is where I bid you goodbye."

I go to get up but am quickly yanked back onto the seat. Looking down I see a chain fastened to something on my neck.

Y/N: "What the hell's going on?"

Ozpin: "You're quiet the special person Y/N."

Y/N: "And you know me how?"

Ozpin: "You've gained quiet the reputation in underworld. You've climbed the ranks thanks to that special ability of yours. You've also made a lot of friends."

Y/N: "Get to the point will ya?"

Ozpin: "You know a Roman Torchwick do you not?"

Y/N: "That depends."

Ozpin: "Some reports say you've taken several contracts for him and even call you his right hand."

Y/N: "You're crazy if you think I'd work for a lowly criminal like Roman. He's a nobody."

He sighs.

Ozpin: "I was hoping we could do this peacefully."

He presses a button on a remote. This makes a long beep be heard.

Y/N: "The hell's that noise?"

Ozpin: "That would be the bomb planted in a collar around your neck. Look I'll keep this simple. Roman is a rising criminal who likely has plans up his sleeve. I'd really like to know what they are before people get hurt. So you're either gonna tell me what he's planning. Or I'll put that healing of yours to the test."

I narrow my eyes.

Y/N: "I don't know nothin."

He matches my narrowed gaze. He sighs making the beep stop.

Ozpin: "I know I can't kill you. Which is why I'm playing the third option."

Y/N: "Which is?"

Ozpin: "Enrolling you in my school."

My eyes slightly widen.

Y/N: "What?"

Ozpin: "Seeing as you won't talk I think having to deal with children will break you down."

Y/N: "I'll never break."

He smiles pressing another button. The chain shatters freeing me. I stand up and begin leaving when Ozpin stops me.

Ozpin: "It'd be wise to stay within the perimeter. Less you wanna activate the bomb."

I hmph leaving the building I'm in. I walk around looking at the so called Beacon Academy. 

Y/N: "Stupid Ozpin. Thinking simple students will be enough to get me to talk."

I continue to walk when the ground rumbles in an explosion. I look to see what's clearly a Schnee yelling at another girl who's on the younger side. I walk up to them.

Schnee: "What're you even doing here? Aren't you too young?"

I tap her shoulder.

Schnee: "And just what is it you-"

She turns around. She's stopped mid sentence having to look up to match my eyes.

Y/N: "Walk away. While you still can."

She trembles in fear. Without saying another word she speed walks away. I feel a tug on my coat. Turning I see the young girl in red.

Red: "Thanks for that. I'm Ruby by the way."

She holds out her hand. I turn my back to her.

Y/N: "Try not to annoy anyone else."

I walk away heading where everyone else is going.

Ruby POV

That boy walks away making me lower my hand. That was kinda rude. I shake that though away.

Ruby: "He's probably just having a bad day."

Y/N POV

I arrive at an auditorium. There I see Ozpin walking to a microphone.

Ozpin: "Greetings. All of you have traveled from all corners of Remnant to get here. You've come to hone and acquire new skills. But getting a good look I only see wasted energy in need of guidance. You assume going here will free you of this. But you'll soon see that that isn't the case. It's up to you to take the first step."

A blonde woman replaces him at the microphone.

Blonde: "All of you are to gather in the ballroom for the night. Rest  well because you'll take your initiation tomorrow."
