Train To Argus

Y/N POV

Ruby: "So what were you guys doing at Haven?"

Yang: "I was out looking for you. I encountered Weiss outside Mistral. When we got there we saw Blake fighting White Fang. We then decided to help her out."

Jaune: "Well we're glad to have you guys with us."

My stomach screams forcing me to the bathroom. I hurl everything up into the toilet. After awhile I finally stop allowing me to recover. Shakily flushing the toilet I look at my arm. It's then I notice a sort of rash developing. 

Y/N: "That can't be good."

I lower my sleeve to conceal it. The train then begins to rumble. Heading to the passenger car I encounter the kids.

Y/N: "What's the situation?"

Ruby: "Manticores."

Jaune: "This is just great."

Yang: "Guess we picked the wrong train."

Blake: "How on earth are we gonna get rid of them?"

I think until an idea hits me.

Y/N: "Ren. Think you can hide everyone on the train?"

Ren: "Yes."

Jaune: "What're you thinking?"

Y/N: "If we hide everyone then maybe we can give the Grimm the slip."

Ruby: "It'll work."

Y/N: "Ren."

He nods activating his semblance. The whole train becomes gray as everyone is concealed. I look out the window as the Manticores roar in anger. I then sigh in relief as they fly away.

Y/N: "Good job Ren."

Ren: "Thanks."

We maintain our disguise until we finally reach the city of Argus. When we do Ren lets out an exhausted sigh. I pat his back.

Y/N: "You did great."

Ren: *smiles* "Couldn't have done it without your training."

The passengers start getting off the train. As we do a woman holding a newborn girl walks to me.

Woman: "Thank you."

Y/N: "What for?"

Woman: "Because of you we're safe. Thank you."

She kisses my cheek. After everyone gets off we exit as well.

Jaune: "Home sweet home."

Y/N: "You know this place?"

Jaune: "I grew up here."

Ruby: "I don't take it you know a place where we can stay."

Jaune: "Follow me."

We do and are led to a small two story house. Jaune rings the doorbell. After a few seconds a woman with blonde hair answers the door.

Jaune: "Hey Saphron."

Saphron: "Jaune!"

She wraps him into a tight hug.

Saphron: "I was wondering when you'd come and visit."

Jaune: "Sorry it took so long. But hey, mind if we crash here a day or two?"

Saphron: "By all means. Got plenty of space."

We enter the house and take a seat in the living room. 

Saphron: "So what brings you back towards home?"

Jaune: "Well we helped stop an assault on Haven. When the dust settled we found evidence that the same thing was gonna happen to Atlas. Therefore we're making our way there to try and prevent that."

Saphron: "And how're you gonna get to Atlas?"

My stomach aches making me stand.

Y/N: "Pardon me."

I speed walk away to the bathroom. Hunching over the toilet I do my regular thing. But instead of anything coming out I just dry heave. After two of them I begin a coughing fit. My lungs cramp up making it hard to breathe. I struggle to get any air which ultimately makes me pass out.

3rd POV

Growing concerned over his prolonged absence Saphron goes to investigate. Checking each room she finally reaches the bathroom. The second she opens the door she sees Y/N passed out.

Saphron: "Oh no."

She runs to him placing her hand on his forehead.

Saphron: "You've got a fever. Let's get you taken care of."

Throwing his arm over her she carries him to a spare room.
