Road To Redemption

Colossal Fight

Y/N POV

Cordo: "You kids will pay for your defiance."

She aims a cannon launching a big blast of ice at us. Weiss appears making a wall of earth to protect us.

Weiss: "Anybody got any bright ideas on how to  take this thing down?"

Y/N: "I've got one."

I activate a semblance teleporting onto the shoulder of Cordo's robot.

Y/N: "Hey, over here!"

Cordo: "Get offa me."

She brings her hand down but I teleport to the other shoulder. I switch semblances holding out my hands. Jets of molten fire soar hitting the face of Cordo's robot. 

Cordo: "Blasted pest!"

She jerks the robot to the side. I wobble trying to maintain my balance. Meanwhile the others fire their weapons at Cordo.

Cordo: "Unruly children."

She fires the cannon showering them with earth blasts. They take cover. The continuous blasts shakes the robot enough to send me over the edge. I freefall towards the ocean. I prepare to teleport when I see directly down the cannon.

Y/N: "Ah crap."

Cordo: "So long."

The cannon roars sending a massive beam of lightning at me. The last thing I see is a big bright flash.

3rd POV

The others watch in horror as Y/N's charred body hits and sinks into the ocean.

Ruby: "How could you!?!"

Cordo: "He had the audacity to disobey me. He chose to pay with his life."

Jaune: "He was a good man!!!"

Cordo: "All those who defy the ones in charge need to be punished."

She aims her cannon at them.

Cordo: "Including you."

Nora: "You can't stop us!"

Cordo: "I can assure you, I most certainly can. Let me show you."

Y/N POV

The world comes back as I clench my fists. I switch semblances sky rocketing to the surface. As I do I pull large portions of the ocean floor with me creating something. When I breach the surface my golem uppercuts Cordo's cannon sending the blast into the air. My golem then punches Cordo away as I sit on the golem's head.

Cordo: "Impossible!!!"

Y/N: "Nothing's impossible."

I whisper to myself. 

Y/N: "Today's the day. The day I start to atone for all the bad things I've done. I'll make it right. Whatever it takes."

My golem swings its claws tearing into Cordo's robot. She growls swinging her cannon into my golem's face. It's face breaks apart causing Cordo to smile. I simply reform it and make it rush forward. It tackles her into the ocean.

Cordo uses her fist to punch my golem. It however catches her fist pinning it down. Then using its free hand it repeatedly brings it down crushing the robot's face. I cough up blood which breaks my streak. This allows Cordo to fire her cannon directly at my golem's face.

It goes flying landing on its back. I wipe my mouth as my chest locks up. Pushing past it I make my golem stand. It raises its hand. Sections of the earth spring outta the ocean hitting Cordo's robot.

Her armor starts getting heavily dented. She screams in anger firing rockets at me and my golem. The rockets hit us knocking us back. Still affected Cordo gets in close punching my golem's stomach. As it slouches she slams her cannon onto its back sending it face down.

Cordo: "You will never defeat me!!!"

My chest cries in pain begging me to stop. I ignore its pleas and push myself further. Holding out my hand I activate a second semblance. My body is enveloped in pain but I  just ignore it. A massive hand of shadow materializes grabbing ahold of Cordo's cannon.

I pull lifting the cannon up. The golem brings its fist down snapping the cannon off. I raise the shadow hand high into the air. It morphs into a giant battle axe. The golem dematerializes leaving my by myself.

Y/N: "This is the end Cordo!!!"

I scream in anger bringing down my shadow axe. It comes down cleaving through Cordo's robot. The armor lets out a loud creak. The top right half then falls off fully exposing Cordo. Her eyes widen in pure terror. I smile when the pain finally catches up and knocks me out.

3rd POV

The others zoom by. With the help of a glyph Y/N is pulled safely into the airship. While he's looked over Ruby stares at Cordo with a look of anger.

Ruby: "Count yourself lucky he showed mercy."

Cord can only nod. Ruby shuts the side door as they all fly to Atlas.
