We never stopped looking.

We searched high and low.

Until we couldn't think of anywhere else.

That didn't stop us from looking again.

I'm currently sat in a boring ass meeting with my 4 eldest sons, and I specifically told my pa(private assistant) that I didn't want any interruptions, but what does she do.

Call me out of a meeting. I mean I appreciate getting me out of that shit hole, but we need this partnership for our future plans.

She connects my phone to the ongoing call and I start speaking.

Elonzo: Hello Mariano speaking.

Random dude: Hello, this is Elonzo Mariano correct?

Elonzo: Yes, who is this and what is the purpose of this call?

Rd: Ohh yes I'm Rachel, I work for LA police department. Sorry for the interruption but we have a Ivy and Isaac De'santos/ Mariano in our system, their mother and step father recently passed due to overdose and it came on records that you filed a missing persons report 14 years ago for them. Would you like to take custody of them or they will go into foster care again.

Im in shock. I try to speak but sound refuses to come out. They're coming home.

Rd: Hello?

Elonzo: ohh yes, of course I will take them. Send me through the details of where I pick them up.

With that the call ends. They're coming home.

My son is coming home...

And my only daughter.

I have to tell my family, they'll be overcome with joy.

"What?" My wife Katherine is lost for words but the happiness in her eyes is evident.

"Im going to have a daughter?" She says with a beaming smile. She has always treated my boys like her own, and for that I will forever be in dept.

After Maria ran with the twins none of us were the same. They all became cold and closed off.

The younger ones tried to lessen the sadness with jokes, but it still wasn't the same. They missed their siblings.

They were the light to all of our lives.

Especially our pricipessa, she was the first born girl in our family in 7 generations. She was our tesoro. (Princess, treasure)

I tell the boys to pack a bag and we head off to the airport. Kath stayed home with my 6 babies so it wouldn't be that hard to travel.

We reach our jet in 40 minutes and to say we were feeling a mixture of emotions would be an understatement.

Nikolas always has his emotionless face and today's no different, but the look in his eyes. He's exited but also worries for the safety of his siblings.
