Bubble totally fell apart. He was in absolute shock because he was being denied the way to save his friend. He made the mistake of leaving Artemis alone and endangered her by CHASING HIM! HOW COULD HE BE SO STUPID!

What did I do wrong to you! I want to save your sister as much as you do! I need to make up for my mistakes! Why won't you let me help! You would most defiantly let me help if you knew what I could do! Wait, that's bad. No, no, no, no. But still! Let me help!

"But why!?" Bubble cried. He knew that Diamondback had a good idea of how much he wanted to help, so he didn't understand why he wasn't allowed.

"Because I don't know if you could defend yourself against a trained assassin. They have been trained in battle, I have a deadly tail, Boris has frost breath..."

"And a deadly tail," Boris interrupted. Diamondback shot him a quick glare and went back to speaking.

"And Starburst has invisibility scales and venom. I don't know what you have. You have nothing."

Bubble had no idea that statement would hurt this much. He was in absolute shock and more. Saying he was very upset would be an understatement. Bubble wished he could have hidden in the deepest cave in the school and waited for his demise. If his own friends didn't see him as useful, then who would?

"I understand," he said, even though he absolutely did not. There wasn't much he could say about this. He was at an absolute loss of words, and he was desperate. Desperate for a chance to prove himself. Desperate for a chance to make up for his mistakes. Desperate to save Artemis. Desperate to be important, and not just a sad excuse of a dragon.

"I'm sorry Bubble, but this is the way it has to be," Diamondback said, with no remorse in his voice whatsoever. He motioned for the rest of the group to exit the room.

They all passed Bubble on their way out, and Diamondback paused next to him, then shook his head and walked out.

Bubble was left alone in the dark empty room. Bubble sat there for hours, crying. All his friends have left him behind. His first friend is now at home, and his new friends are now gone too. Maybe he was destined to be alone forever.

Bubble got himself together, and gathered all of his stuff from the room. Someone else can take his place next school year, but he won't be here to finish this one. Bubble grabbed the dragon carving that was left in the box. He left the room real quick to go find one of the Dragonets of Destiny. He found one of the offices and peeked in. He saw a golden dragon sitting, writing something on a scroll, and ran over to another one and started writing on that.

"Excuse me? Are you... Sunny?" Bubble asked nervously.

She turned around a little surprised and looked at him with a smile.

"Bubble! How are you? I remember on 'Meet Your Winglet Day,' Tsunami found out you were her nephew. Who did you say you were the son of again?"

"Um... Prince Turtle," Bubble answered hesitantly.

"Turtle! Oh! How nice!" Sunny squealed, "Who is the mother?"

"Kinkajou. I'm part SeaWing, part RainWing."

"Kinkajou!? I wasn't expecting that." Sunny said in shock. She looked back over at the desks, mumbled something under her breath, but then looked back over at Bubble again, still smiling.

Bubble shifted uncomfortably, not knowing how to transition to what he was wanting to ask.

"So what did you want to talk to me about?" Sunny asked as if she could read minds. It was the perfect transition. That was very... unsettling to say the least.

"I just wanted to know where Starburst's room is. I wanted to drop something off."

Bubble revealed the carving, and Sunny looked at it in awe.

"You made that?" Sunny asked, just trying to confirm that he didn't buy it anywhere.

Bubble nodded. Sunny walked back over to one of her tables and opened a scroll. She looked through the scroll until she found and pointed at something.

"If you want to find her room, go down this hall, and it will be the third room on the left."

Bubble thanked her and walked down the hall.

Why am I running away? I know I'm upset with them, but I should try to work it out with them. Or, at least I could find a way to help save Artemis.

Bubble stopped in his tracks as soon as he had that thought. He could find a way to help save Artemis. Bubble ran back to his room as fast as he could, and dropped off the carving. He ran straight to the Great Hall and flew right out of the school. He angled himself toward the biggest tree he could see.

When he arrived, he was surprised to no one there. He hid in some of the trees nearby and waited for someone to come. As night started to approach, Bubble was starting to get worried. Finally, Diamondback arrived, and a dash of silver passed by and hid in some bushes. A red dragon appeared out of the shadows a few minutes later. They had a black hood on, with a golden emblem on the front.

"I see you didn't bring the princess. I would say things don't look good for that NightWing."

"You will get the Princess after we get Artemis," Diamondback shot back at the assassin. He was standing in front of the tree out in the open. He looked very much alone, but Bubble knew that the others were hiding nearby.

The assassin shook his head. He hissed and slowly stalked closer to Diamondback, but Diamondback just stood there, glaring at the SkyWing assassin. The SkyWing stayed out of the attack distance of Diamondback but was still too close to him for Bubble to feel less worried.
