He heard a muffled grunt, but there was nothing there, other than air, but still, he knew that there was something there because he just ran into it!

He took a second to coordinate himself, trying to keep himself from falling over. He felt slightly lightheaded but managed to stay on his talons, somehow.

What kind of dragon would get in the way of him? He was in a tunnel still being expanded to add another extension to the school, so not many, if any, dragons came down here. He felt dumb as he started to realize that the only dragons that can go invisible are the RainWings.

The RainWing growled in a low tone, sending chills down his spines and down to his wingtips. They seemed very agitated toward the SeaWing Prince, which worried him.

He knew very well that RainWings had venom, and that they would use it on others if they had to. He learned all of this from his mother and father's stories of defeating Darkstalker and all their other adventures.

What kind of RainWing would even follow me in the first place?! What are they doing? I don't even know what is down this tunnel, but I do know that it is nothing important, considering that it is not top priority in getting expanded.

Bubble was about to run around the invisible RainWing, but then out of the blue had talons wrapped around his snout. He squirmed trying to get out of their grip. He couldn't escape the dragon's grip, and he started to panic.

SHOOT! IS THIS RAINWING A PART OF THAT SECRET GROUP! ARE THEY GOING TO KILL ME!

Bubble started to flash his scales to try to get anyone's attention if there was anyone this deep in the mountain. He could see a corner blocking the view of the entrance, but he hoped that if someone saw it, they would come to the rescue.

I could just... no NO! That's a terrible idea, that would most definitely backfire on me if I do.

"Stop flashing your scales you stupid SeaWing! Or you are going to endanger us BOTH!" the empty air whispered directly into his ear. The warm breath from the dragon felt immensely uncomfortable, causing him to squirm more.

The voice sounded familiar and commanding, so he immediately stopped, and relaxed. He wasn't in any danger right now. He hoped.

"Who are you?" Bubble asked, feeling slightly ridiculous, not because RainWings are weak, but because most, if not all, RainWings would prefer not to harm any living thing. Unless they were going to harm animals, or their home, or queen, or endanger them, or aggravate them a lot, or... You know what, this isn't helping.

"Shut up, and stay still!" the RainWing said as they slowly appeared out of the air. Bubble started to inch backward, trying to escape, but even out of the corner of their eye they managed to pin him down.

The RainWing came into full view, and Bubble realized it wasn't any RainWing. It was Starburst, the slightly RainWing in his winglet.

"Starburst! What the heck!? I need to get going!" Bubble yelped. Starburst just rolled her eyes, growled softly, and let go.

Bubble stood up and shook out his wings, shaking all the dust and pebbles off of him. He twisted his neck, trying to loosen the tight muscles that came from the uncomfortable position of being pinned. He looked back over at Starburst... Where Starburst was. She must have turned invisible again, or ran away without him noticing.

Bubble made a dash for the end of the tunnel looking for one of the teachers, but the halls seemed to be empty. Bubble started to panic, and he ran faster down the halls almost tripping over some of the rocks a few times. Pain bolted through his body every time he scraped against the walls.

Bubble finally made it to the Prey Center and saw his aunt and a big brown dragon. Bubble racked through his memory really quickly and remembered that the brown dragon is known as Clay. The other dragons were all minding their own business, and Clay and Tsunami were talking near the middle of the Prey Center. He started to slow down to a walk, he was starting to approach the teachers.

"Hi Bubble," Tsunami said, then she turned toward Clay, "You should have already met my nephew."

Clay slightly twisted his head, "And... Who is that?"

Tsunami facepalm, and looked back at Clay, with the most "Seriously?" face Bubble has ever seen in his life, so he had to quickly stifle a laugh. Bubble slowed his walk, stopping just about a wing's length from them. Bubble looked up at the massive MudWing, trying to get a view of his face from this close, but he struggled. All he could see was the tip of his snout.

"Clay... Bubble is my nephew," Tsunami said. She looked over at Bubble and gave him a toothy grin causing him to giggle slightly.

"So what did you need?" Clay said, looking down at the small SeaWing. Bubble shrunk even more in nervousness than his already tiny size, at the sight of the absolutely GIGANTIC MudWing. He wasn't scared, but the size of Clay was honestly terrifying.

"I-I just came to ask..." Bubble said, trying to come up with an excuse.

Just tell them something believable. Where is the library? No, I have a map and have been in there already. Can I skip the next class? Terrible, they know that I already know the answer. Can I change caves to a private one? Yes, use that.

Bubble continued, "I came to ask if I could maybe get a cave for myself?"

Tsunami looked like she was about to punch Bubble, and Clay was looking at Tsunami like he was trying not to fall over laughing.

"Why can't we seem to get this into our student's heads!? No private caves! I swear we get asked this every year! We should just make this a new rule! No asking ridiculous questions to the teachers! No being dumb! No running off after an evil SkyWing queen that is trying to kill us! No freeing terrifying nightmares from their mountain tombs so they can brainwash us ALL!"

That seemed oddly specific. Bubble just walked away slowly, watching as Tsunami was fuming, and Clay was trying to calm her down.

I came to tell them something, but they already probably have enough to do. I should let them deal with the school, I can find someone else to help with this. Maybe I can find out who it was, but I'm going to need help. How about... A mind reader.

He started to walk down the halls faster at the thought of seeing her. He could just imagine her perfectly shaped teardrop scales behind her eyes. Her perfectly shiny scales that glimmer in the sunlight. Her... Everything is just perfect.

I need to stop. I can't be thinking this. I don't have a chance anyway. But... I just can't stop thinking about her.
