"So what are you people going to do with me?!" I said, smacking my hands onto the empty wooden table.

"Didn't you hear what I said? We'll ask questions when we start eating. We've literally just entered the room." Doflamingo said in a somewhat tranquil voice. Odd; he would have probably popped a vain or something after me asking that sudden question. I don't like this.

All I could do for the past 30 minutes was sit on an arm chair and stare at the wooden table that was gradually getting less empty: a pot of flowers (which I rolled my eyes at while he smiled in response) white dishes, and silverware.

"Am I allowed to ask what we're going to eat...?"

He gave me the most concerned face, also giving hints of exasperation, "(Y/n), did you seriously just ask a question?"

Clutching onto my hair while holding it up to where I could hide my face, I averted my eyes, genuinely embarrassed. "Sorry, I actually forgot this time..."

"Were you that mesmerized at me during those 30 minutes?"

Immediately turning my eyes to glare at him, I decide to let out a sigh and rest my jaw on my hand, already having my elbow resting on the table.

Plus 10 more minutes of waiting, Doflamingo comes back from the kitchen (I'm assuming) bringing in two dishes with food on them. "What are your thoughts on ravioli?"

Bursting out into laughter, I try to stop myself when I see Doflamingo's face, which was as hard and serious as stone, but I laugh louder.

"What is so funny about ravioli?" He said, still giving the same serious face. "Oh my gosh, did you forget?"

"Right, okay. I'll let you ask a question first when we both begin to eat."

As he placed my dish of ravioli in front of me, a rush of memories take over my mind for a few seconds, leaving me sighing in sadness.

"So... kind of tiered of asking this question but what are you going to do with me...?" My mind wasn't fully present when asking my question, but I look up to see his mouth begin to move, now emitting a calm voice; it was like music sung by some sort of God.

"We planned on having you auctioned off. The money we have now suffices for our experiments, but it wouldn't hurt to have more money, y'know, just in case we spend it on something less important." Smirking toward the end of his sentence, I almost throw-up in my own mouth. Ew.

Raising his eye in amusement, he begins to open his mouth again, "So now it's my turn to ask- why did you suddenly burst out laughing when I brought out the ravioli?"

"Well, it's just a personal joke that I had with three specific people. We would throw food at each other but later ate it off of the floor after because the adults wouldn't have us waist food." Pausing for a quick moment, I grab my fork and begin to play with my food, "The main dish that we threw around all of the time was ravioli. One of the three people, the youngest in the group, would always yell out 'ravioli' in such a weird way. That was their way of winning in the end because they would make all of us laugh, leaving us with no air to breathe."

"And who were these three specific people?" I take a bite from the dish, waving my fork around while processing the food, "It's my turn to ask."

  "Right... go ahead."

Sitting upright in my chair, I begin to stare at him with serious facial features, "So. Are you going to keep me on your crew...? I don't want to put anyone in anymore danger, even if it's you guys."

"U-uhm, of course we're going to keep you in our crew. You can't escape now. You've already told me that you would join us. I also believe that there is a way to avoid your extreme bad luck. We're all strong, so don't worry about us."

  He stuttered.

"Well, I wasn't worried... I just don't want to go through the same thing again. If I end up having a good time with you people and then I end up seeing a pile of your dead corpses- there is just no way that I would be able to live after that."

The words that flew out of my mouth are half incorrect. Right now, I don't really care what happens to them. I just want justice in the end, but for some reason... something's holding me back.

"My turn," he said as he was picking up another piece of food from the dish with his fork, "Who were those three specific people? If they're still alive then I wont hurt them. You're part of the crew now, anyway."

Glaring at him in hesitation, I spill out the truth instead of making up random names. "Ace, Sabo, and Luffy."

  Damn it.

His whole body twitched at my response. His forehead was forming lines of anger.

"Ace... Luffy... both successfully fled from the war..."

beads of sweat were forming around my face, "Well, they were only my childhood friends. We aren't in contact anymore. Ace didn't even say anything after the war."

"What do you mean by that?"

"It's a long story"

crossing his legs from under the table, and propping his arms so that he could rest his chin and glare trough his shades, he stared at me "Go on, I have time."

"My Fiancé risked himself to save Ace. And Ace never said anything to me, like: I'm sorry for your loss, or maybe thank you..."

"I'm assuming that that was a short summery."

  "Eh, yes."

He was rubbing his fingers against his chin while averting his gaze from me, so I'm assuming that he was thinking of something to say.

"Well, how about this. Pretend that I was the victim."

"Oh God-"

"No no, hear me out. I was Ace, okay? Your fiancé saved me, not him. And now were having dinner because I'm properly thanking you for having your fiancé save my life."

What does this man think he's saying?

I clear my throat while closing my eyes, "Well... Doflamingo-"

"Call me Doffy."

Opening my eyes, witnessing his wide grin, I clear my throat again in irritation, "Well... Doffy. I thank you for this consistent meal. I truly had a wonderful time interrogating each other. Fun stuff."

"Your sarcasm breaks my soul." He said while slouching his shoulders.

"But seriously, thank you. Out of most people in the world you're the one I'd least expect to make me feel somewhat jubilant."

His smile was as wide as always. "Well, I'm glad."

Staring at my empty dish, I begin to zone out and contemplate about my possible actions.

If I leave, then I'm betraying him. If I escape, then I'm betraying him. If i find either Ace, Sabo, or Luffy, then I'm betraying him.

yah, okay, but I'm not living now just so that I would live for Doffy. It's justice that I need, right? Defeat Doffy and your final mission will be complete.

"We'll be at Dressrosa soon. We've decided to go back, so prepare yourself."

Hahah...
