I AM SO SORRY FOR NOT BEING ON THIS FOR LIKE TWO YEARS!!! (this is a draft of a chapter I was working on before that'll continue the story).
It was another day at the office, Maddie approached her work desk only to see it crowded with a few of her work mates.
"It's just a desk guys, nothing special" Maddie chuckled.
"Seems like something more..." Nina smirked at her and pointed at the desk that was showered with rose petals. There was a box of her favourite chocolates and a cute little teddy bear on the corner of her desk. "...so either Dean is being incredibly sweet this morning or you have a secret admirer."
"Well, last time I checked, I didn't have one so this is probably one of Dean's stunts." Maddie couldn't stop smiling, her mouth almost started to hurt. On random occasions, Dean would do some of the most cutest things just to keep Maddie going for the day, her job can get tiring.
A middle aged man approached Maddie and the girls. He had a huge bouquet of red roses in his hand and a note that was attached to them.
"Excuse me, which one of you is...Miss Foster?" The man said to the girls that were crowded around the desk.
Maddie stepped forward and raised her hand. "I-uh, I am."
"Great. Mr Carter asked me to bring these flowers to you along with this note." He smiled and then edged closer to her. "Don't worry, I didn't read it." He laughed.
"Thank you." Maddie said smelling the roses and placing the note on her desk.
I mixtures of 'ooooh' and 'awhs' come from her friends, it never failed to make her blush. She sat down and opened up the folded note and read it.
Hey Babe, I hope you have a wonderful day at work! I just woke up this morning and had the urge to tell you how much I love you in a different way. Enjoy the chocolates! x
- Dean"So sweet." Nina said, leaning over Maddie's shoulder. "I wish I had my own Dean."
"Don't we all?" Barbra from the front desk said. "Now get to work ladies! We have a new issue of Cosmopolitan coming out on Friday! And you..." She said walking up to Maddie, "you still haven't finished your article on 'the business and fashion of men'."
"I told you, I'm getting there!" Maddie said a little frustrated. "Oh

Liam tried to keep up with all the work they were handing him, it was only his first day at assistant CEO. Though some people would think that it's pretty biased to pick your son to be the next CEO of the company, it did make sense since he's going to hopefully inherit everything.
"Mr Fitzgerald you have a call-"
"You have a meeting at..."
"Did you get the papers, sir?..."
"Your father asked you to sign these-""Okay, just stop!" Liam exclaimed. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath and breathed out whilst trying to smile. He fixed his suit and got up from his desk which was covered with files and paperwork.
"I am going out...for coffee." Liam said rubbing the side of his forehead.
"But, sir? We can just get it delivered to the office-" Ben spoke, Liam's manager.
"Ben, I need to breath. If you can't tell, I'm a bit overwhelmed by all this shit." He said, walking away from Ben.
"Language Mr Fitz-" Liam cut him off again.
"Got it, Ben." Liam smirked and ran out of the office.
