Chapter 7: Battle of Gods/Resurrection F Saga

Four years have passed (Age 778) since the defeat of Majin Buu. Everyone's lives returned to normal except some warriors who enjoyed training too much, which has continued as such. However, on a planet many light years away, it is home to a mighty God of Destruction named Beerus with his assistant Whis.

Whis is heading to Lord Beerus' bed chamber when his alarm clock starts exploding, which annoys Beerus. He has to get up, or Whis will do something about it. Beerus and Whis talk about their plans, but Beerus has a long thought, and then it hits him: He was thinking about the Super Saiyan God.

Whis informs Beerus that some living Saiyans are currently on Earth, while there are three on King Kai's planet. Still, before Whis goes on about Vegeta's current location, Beerus wishes to head for King Kai's world and then Earth just to find his arch-rival, which he hopes will satisfy his urge to fight another God.

Beerus asks Whis how long it will take to get there, and he responds, "Depends on the writer." Beerus just says, "Sounds like your average Japanese light novel." They then leave to meet the three Saiyans on King Kai's planet. Speaking of King Kai, he is playing duck and cover as Goku, Hagisu, and Raditz have been training nonstop. They wish to become stronger in case someone stronger than Majin Buu comes along to do damage.

King Kai felt something through his antennas, feeling a godly Ki heading his way, but he knew who it was as he made everyone stop training and then asked Hagisu and Raditz to get Goku inside. He started explaining that a compelling guest was going, and he didn't want the guest or Goku to meet, or it would be chaos for them.

Then King Kai remembered that Hagisu was just like Goku, so Raditz could tell with King Kai's expression as he picked up his siblings, dragged them into the house, and left it, closing the door behind him. Raditz went over to King Kai to see what would happen next, but just then, Whis showed up with Beerus. Raditz remembered the two when he was very young, so he showed respect to them.

Beerus wishes to see his full potential, which he politely refuses as he wishes not to spar with a god. Then Beerus notices his siblings hiding in the house. Beerus asks them both to come forward, and as they do, Raditz and King Kai get very nervous, knowing what the two of them are like when fighting.

First, Goku went up, as Beerus wished to see them both using their most potent forms. Then, Goku went all out in Super Saiyan 2 form, as he has been training primarily in that one. The two spars, Raditz and King Kai played duck and cover to avoid the fights. Goku is easily knocked down within only a few seconds of their sparring match, which Hagisu chuckles, but she quickly stops and then takes her turn to spar with Beerus.

Hagisu jumps straight to Super Saiyan 2 without a single thought but halts before Beerus. She then starts screaming and yelling, turning into Super Saiyan 3. While she's still changing, Beerus and Whis notice some red auras around her form, but the others haven't seen them; only they sense how strong she has gotten.

Hagisu charges at Beerus, though both her brothers, King Kai, Whis, and Beerus, notice something wrong with her as if she's taken it more seriously than a simple sparring match. Beerus gets his window, and he then teleports behind Hagisu and chops her neck, knocking her out as everyone else comes to her aid. Whis uses his staff to scan her.

Whis informs them that she will be alright but will remain here under King Kai's care while they return to Earth. As Goku mentioned, the dragon balls could help them with what they seek. Still, before they leave, Raditz just gives out a terrifying scream as everyone is wondering what it is. He tells Goku that they forgot about Bulma's birthday, and Goku also gives out a terrifying yell, so they quickly ask Beerus if they just spent the day at the party and then ask the dragon afterwards.
