CHAPTER 81 | THE END
"Our names have been carved into the heavens. Just the two of us. Throughout the ages of eternity injustice. Our love sung in a beautiful melody, and our destiny was written in the books of fate. We couldn't and won't walk this earth without each other. Because, my dear, our destiny is to die hand in hand, heart to heart, and soul to soul. I no longer crave retribution as I am no longer yours, and you are no longer mine, and that enough is the harshest punishment I can ever receive by the Gods above. To my first and last love, goodbye."

Yoongi's surroundings are suddenly absorbed by a bright white light. It dazzled him for a moment, but oddly, it did not frighten him. It provided him a sense of tranquility, if not contentment. He felt his body being yanked and his head was filled with bewilderment. Then he gets a tremendous headache, and he lets out a groan. His entire body felt as if it was being held in place by something. The space was a tight squeeze, and he felt like he was being pressed even harder by the lack of movement. His visions were still blurred by the brilliant light in his eyes, and he was blinded by the unexpected wave of panic. Kareem extends his arms wide, stretching and ripping apart what was holding him tightly in place with the last of his might.
As the splitting noises, which sounded like wood, echoed, he let out a scream. He reached out his hands to the unknown walls and ripped them apart with power. Yoongi's body then collapsed onto a hard stone floor as he was immersed in an unfamiliar fluid that was thick and sticky, yet the light had vanished. He couldn't see where he was going since his vision was blurry.
He crawled out of the cage with the rest of his body and coughed up the liquid. Yoongi spun around to face the dazzling light shining behind him, but all he could see was a white tree. He was gasping for air, weary, and perplexed.
"What the fuck is going on?" He stated his case. "Was I in that tree?"
Yoongi then looked around the chamber, and to his surprise, there were more of the same trees he was in, as well as other individuals inside. But they didn't have the same shine as his tree. He leaned against the stone brick walls to assist himself get back to his feet and dragged himself across. He proceeded carefully towards the others, grabbing onto the branches and leaning his frail body against the trunk of the closest one. The wood appeared to be see-through due to the lack of light.
Yoongi got a closer look to see who was inside and immediately regretted his decision as his eyes widened. He wanted to shout at the same time from the horrific scene he just had witnessed. It was Namjoon who was inside, and he was dead.
His body was pallid, and blood was dripping from his mouth, eyes, nose, and stomach, as if he had been pierced by an unknown blade. Yoongi instantly backed away and collapsed on the ground. He began to hyperventilate and looked around the room at the other trees that had formed a ring around the area.
He stands up and sprints towards another tree, where Lycus was hiding. He was dead once more, this time coated in his own blood, exactly like Namjoon. Yoongi stepped back once again, afraid and filled with terror, then a strong stinging sensation spread from his gut to his throat. He knelt down and threw up on the ground. His eyes welled up with tears. Not only because of the acid scorching his throat, but also because he had just seen both his best friends dead.
Yoongi proceeded to sprint towards the other eleven lightless trees. As he scanned the inner flesh of the trees, Silvanna, Keres, Kareem, Jungkook, Jin, Hoseok, Taehyung, and Jimin, were not inside. However, Malak remained inside as he, unfortunately, perished within the war. Perhaps, everyone else had already been released.
